A quarter moon later...

Petalflower was mixing a poultice for a warrior named Badgershade.

Suddenly, he collapsed. 

"What happened?" Birchstar asked.

"I'm sorry, Birchstar," Petalflower hanged her head, "he's dead."

"Noticing the juniper juice by him, she realized what she had to do.

"He's been fed deathberries!" she yowled, pointing towards the juniper juice with a claw.

Birchstar sighed, "I'm sorry Petalflower. I refused to listen to the warning of the petal, but it seems to be true. You're exiled."

Petalflower stumbled back, rage flitting in her eyes. A rage Lightpaw had never seen.

"Fine, but I'll be back!" she spat, bounding out of the camp entrance.

What does she mean by that? Lightpaw wondered.
