"Lightpaw?"

She turned her head back to Birchstar.

"I think you deserve your medicine cat name. You've been training a long, long, time," he explained.

She nodded.

"You shall pick. It is the least I can do for you, ridding the Clan of a murderer," he meowed, "what name will you choose?"

She frowned thoughtfully, then decided, "Lightfeather."

He gasped for a second, eyes flickering uncertainly, than nodded, obviously shaken. "Very well. Lightfeather it is."

She smiled. Mission accomplished! Plus, Petalflower couldn't nose her way into things anymore!

"Yarrowleaf, organize a patrol," he called.

Birchstar turned back to face her smile, obviously relaxing. 

He padded back into his den, as the new medicine cat of ThunderClan padded into the medicine cat den, finally, sleeping soundly, as dreams of death and vengeance filled her head.
