Lightpaw loved being out on the beach. Playing in the sand and splashing in the waves; those were her two favorite things to do in her spare time. 

She jumped on a shell, pretending it was a mouse. She growled softly.

A gray shape tackled her out of the water. 

"Gotcha!"

"Raintail! No fair! I've barely learned any battle moves yet!" Lightpaw exclaimed. Raintail got off, grumbling about how that wasn't fair and shouldn't Beetlestorm have taught her by now?

Lightpaw totally would have agreed with him, except what she had been learning was fascinating. 

"Lightpaw! Raintail! The sun's going down, come back to camp!" called Moonstar. She and her deputy, Sunstreak, were standing on the shore. Lightpaw rolled her eyes and started to swim back. 

When the got to the island, Lightpaw glanced at her sister, just in time to notice the way she looked at Sunstreak.

Oh, Moonstar. Now I know about your little crush...Lightpaw thought before she bounded off towards the medicine den.

As soon as she fell asleep, words began to play in Lightpaw's head. 

Rain, Light, Moon, and Sun must come together to save all cats. The Clans will war with each other, with Death at its center, ruling the night of stones, the Moon must slay Death, and Rain must fall, or there will never be peace.

When Lightpaw woke up, she went straight to Moonstar. 

"Moonstar! I had a dream. There was a prophecy. Rain, Light, Moon, and Sun must come together to save all cats. The Clans will war with each other-" 

Moonstar interrupted her. "With Death at it's center, ruling the night of stones, the Moon must slay death, and Rain must fall, or there will never be peace."

Lightpaw must have been making a face, because Moonstar said, "I heard it when I received my nine lives from StarClan."

Lightpaw sighed and pawed the ground. "I wish...I don't know. But, Moonstar, Rain, Light, Moon, and Sun must mean Raintail, me, you, and Sunstreak!"

Moonstar sighed. "Go back to sleep, it's Moonhigh. And Palmleaf's kits are due any day now. Get to sleep."

Lightpaw nodded and left. As she fell asleep, she smiled, thinking that maybe-just maybe-soon Moonstar would be the one with kits.
