Chapter 5
The spasms were back and they were worse than before. Laying on her side, Bobby numbly stared at her arms and legs. They were shaking violently, each limb acting like it had a mind of its own. Even her individual toes and fingers were quivering.
Tossing her head back as another tremendous spasm overtook her body, Bobby found herself staring at the room's only door. Tears welling up in her eyes, the red bear plush screamed and cried and howled like she had for the past few hours or days. But it was no use. No one was coming to her rescue. Her glowing white eyes fixed on the door, the bear fought through her suffering as she took one step forward, and then another. Every fiber of her body cried out in anguish, begging her to stop. And yet she kept going but only for another five steps.
Bobby was only halfway to her destination when the biggest spasm seized her body. Collapsing onto the floor with a thud, the red bear plush shrieked so loud that her throat hurt. There was still no noise from her though and so she laid there on that floor, shaking non stop while calling for help that couldn't even hear her...
