》Chapter Five《
(A/N): Why do I even bother writing a one-shot with Osomatsu if I haven't updated this yet?

There he goes, Karamatsu suddenly relaxed his shoulders the first time during the short hours you have so far known him. A somewhat tired smile crosses his face and he carefully hops off his finely brushed horse, basket carefully entrusted in his blue-sleeved arms. He quickly takes ahold of the leather reins in his free hand, making sure the horse won't run off in the wild, or else that would've been a disaster.
"Jyushimatsu, is that you?" He randomly called out to the forest, his answer being an innocent giggle from the trees. Huh?
A young man comes through the sharp thickets of the trees, being in a very similar attire as the two samurai. He, himself, was armed with a katana also carefully lodged in his obi. "Karamatsu-niisan!? Is that really you?" The yellow bearer questioned with a wide smile, casual with your escorts. He possessed a thick leather gauntlet on his arm, tightly strapped and somehow clawed by an object of some kind. Must've been sharp like a razor of some kind.
"Yes, my little Jyushimatsu! I'm afraid we're not just visiting for fun, but would about you aid us in our mission and lead us to the guards? We would really appreciate it." Karamatsu smiles charmingly to the yellow samurai as he explained your predicament, the basket, thankfully, in his arms still and the horse impatiently but comedically tapping their foot on the ground.
Osomatsu was still staring at the back of his horse's neck, a small bright blush visible on his cheeks and maybe his ears. Okay, so maybe it wasn't so small after all.
Jyushimatsu (?) nodded rapidly and held up his gloved fist high in the air. "You can all count on me! Follow me to the castle!" Right then and there, a falcon's shadow was overhead everyone's head, making a troubled screech for something.
Jyushimatsu doesn't look bothered at all and instead supported the falcon's presence, laughing happily at the large bird's circling figure. "Soar, falcon!"
The falcon produces another scratchy call, swooping in at incredible aerodynamic speeds. Was it going to peck out his eyes?
Instead, the falcon slows down to normal swooping speed and faithfully perches on Jyushimatsu's gauntlet, not violent at all as it flaunches its feathers. Oh, wait a second, the falcon was tamed. It won't peck your eyeballs out at all. Thank goodness for that.
"Hahaha, pretty bird!" Jyushimatsu gently caresses its shiny feathers with one finger, not even afraid of the threats that still might remain. Hey hey hey, I'm not saying falcons have rabies, but it's never too late to be extra cautious.
"You have a falcon? Magnificent!" Karamatsu proudly exclaims his praise for Jyushimatsu, the two horses troublesomely taking a glance at each other to loudly snort from his painfulness.
Jyushimatsu shakes his head and denies the praise. "It's not mine, I'm just looking after her. She was a gift from the Masamune Clan, a prized falcon they gave to Oda!" Jyushimatsu insisted on showcasing the falcon, making sure the bird anatomy appealed to everyone.
Karamatsu wasn't any less proud of him and even tried to pet the falcon, only to get a harsh peck at his hand.
"Uh, well I glad you're doing well over these past few weeks..." Karamatsu awkwardly rubs his damaged hand in an attempt to not feel any pain at all. Ah, but he WAS pain.
"C'mon! We have to go to the gates!" Jyushimatsu jumps up in childish joy and marches to the castle in a slow beat, as if he had a marching band behind him now. The falcon patiently perches on his gauntlet the whole time, awaiting for any commands.
You sighed and decided to go along with it, following the childish samurai on their destination. Karamatsu sluggishly followed behind with the quest item in safe check while Osomatsu's horse strived on, being the main leader of the red team duo presently.
"Hey? Are you a samurai?" You nervously announced that question, hoping you weren't insulting him since this whole time you basically classified him as one in your mind.
Jyushimatsu didn't seem to mind and only laughs at your question. "I am a samurai! Just like those two!" He exaggerately points his falcon to the red and blue men, the sharp beak of the female bird pointing in between the two.
Karamatsu's hand was starting to bleed, a small quiver of a dark red rose sticky substance running slowly down his palm. Ouch. Must've hurt. Meanwhile, Osomatsu was finally getting a grip of himself, his confident grin regaining coming back to see the light once again. The trick was to make embarrassing moments seem like a victory of some kind. A hug? Whoo, that's a huge victory for him!
The two didn't seem like they were very reliable samurai at all, but you really can't just judge a book from the cover based on looks.
Speaking of looks, why did they look so familiar? Aside from Jyushimatsu's one cowlick as opposed to the other's three cowlicks, they were pretty much the same. It couldn't have been a samurai style, there was at least a little variety in that category.
"Are you guys related?" You blurted out the simple question, finding it a little blunt the moment you processed on how it sounded. If it was just one big misunderstanding, then you wouldn't see a reason to believe your eyes ever again.
"Related? Yeah, we are! Actually, we're triplets! I'm pretty sure I'm the youngest here, then Karamatsu, then Osomatsu as the eldest!" Jyushimatsu confirms it all, brightly smiling and practically swimming from the thought of it all. Brotherhood, amiright?
Brothers, huh? And triplets? Wow, that's amazing! There was hardly a chance of there being twins around now, let alone triplets. The order made sense too, the youngest being the most innocent of all while the eldest was...
Let's not go there.
"It explains why you three look so similar. Why are you here instead of with the others?" Yeah, wouldn't it make sense to stick together? Like Karamatsu said, they haven't seen each other for a couple of weeks. Maybe even a few months too.
Jyushimatsu showed even more pride in his steps, a dreamy look on his face. "My head belongs to the Oda Clan. Because of what they done to me as a kid, I want to continue serving them as long as I can!" His eyes lit up in inspiration, nothing but praise for his family clan.
"Oh! The gates are just a few feet ahead? Let's go!" Jyushimatsu forgets about the civil marching and takes your arm in a strong hold, blasting off to the gates excitedly. Karamatsu takes this into account, afraid he might lose you both, and runs after you two on foot, Osomatsu on horseback. Jyushimatsu somehow kept the falcon safe during his little chase with the whole gang, leaving the forest now and transitioning into more of what was modern.
A shadowy figure resided from the branches above, lips resilient in a pout. "Heyyyyy! I'm the youngest!" The whiny voice claimed.
