I opened my eyes a crack to try and see where I was headed. I looked around wildly for the hole we had come out, I found it at the back of the cave. I had momentarily forgotten I had a tail so I was kinda stunned when I tried to separate my legs and all I came out with was aching legs. I then started to do the dolphin put the hole but was surprised when I fish swam up to my face. I pulled its tail out of my way and looked to the surface. I swam as fast as I could to the surface until I breached the surface and went flying.
"Kalia?"
"I'm here," she said behind me. I swiveled my head to see her sitting on a giant rock, admiring her nails.
"Why did you just leave me there?!" I said swimming up to her.
"Oh I forgot to tell you, we can breath under water," she said finally looking up. I smiled in relief as I to climbed aboard the giant rock.
"Ready for the journey?" She asked looking to were the sun was setting. I nodded as she slipped into the water and disappeared into the water. I shrugged what did I have to lose. So I to slipped silently into the cold murky water. I immediately saw her swimming towards the sun and I followed her. She made it look so easy and fluid while I trailed behind her bobbing up and down. What felt like the whole night but Kalia said was only an hour. It felt like my tail was gonna fall off any second.
"Are we there yet?" I asked floating behind her.
"This is your first time so it will be harder than usual," she replied. I groaned but I kept going. About an hour later, we came across a pack of sharks.
"Hey Finn, I think we found dinner," one said.
"Surround them" one said, its back to us.
