It was a few days before the battle, and every cat was ready, and they had checked with the other clans at the gathering. Every clan had been training and getting every cat, even the kits, ready. Every cat was ready, and nobody was scared, every cat knew and were expecting the worst, every leader and med had reported seeing a starclan cat in a dream, and they had said they would fight as well, and wouldn't give up, every cat could die twice or more, because they could fight in starclan. Magicstar was worried, and was wondering if starclan was abandoning them, letting them fight this terrifying battle, one that could kill them all. " Thickletail, are you there? " She looked up at the stars above her " Did we do something wrong? What did I do? Cause' I can fix it! " The breeze carried a pattern, like words, it seemed to be saying, " I'm here, and no. " Magicstar sighed and padded to her den, she curled up and went to sleep.

She woke up and went out to get a vole, she ripped a bite of and swallowed, she ate it a soon and buried the bones. She thanked starclan and padded off, she went to Dewpaw and reminded her of training, she went and ate a crow and pelted back over " Ok! Let's go! " She mewed, and Magicstar nodded, padding out with Dewpaw flanking her.

They got back after a great and long training session, and Magicstar went straight for food. She gulped it down and stretched her legs, she flexed her claws and went to have a long chat with Firestar.
