Mapleshade woke up to pain in her stomach then she slammed her self into her nest and screeched.Beetail bolted into the nursery where Mapleshde lay writhing in pain."Mapleshade are you ok?!"No get Ravenwing my kits are coming!"

Beetail ran to the medicine cat den and woke Ravenwing.Later in the nursery Mapleshade's belly converts and a wet kit lay on the nest, Mapleshade looked at her kits and she felt the most love for the small kit of hers.

Soon she had three kits curled into her belly."You did it Mapleshade you are a mother." said Beetail looking down at her and Mapleshade looked at him.And then with almost all the clan watching.

"Beetail I have been wronged by my mate and now I wish to have a mate who I can remain loyal to and he the same. Would you be my mate, and help me raise my kits?"The tom looked at her in surprise and said:"Yes Mapleshade I will be your mate."Then he curled his tail around hers a nuseled her ears.

"What are there names?"He asked."Well for the brown tom Larchkit and his sister Petalkit and the patched one, Patchkit."Mapleshade said a curled around her kits and slept.
