Mapleshade and Beetail walked into the camp where cats where emerging from dens and yawning getting ready to start a new day.A new day where they follow the Warrior Code Mapleshade thought sadly.She and Beetail walked over to the clan leader Oakstar."Beetail where have you been?"Oakstar Mapleshade and I have something to say to you in your den."

Oakstar looked puzzled then walked into his den and both of the warriors followed, him in.Mapleshade sat down and started to tell Oakstar her story about how she was Appledusks mate and how he betrayed her, and Beetail told him how he had caught her and help her.

"Oakstar I now see my mistake I don't blame you for banishing me."

Her leader looked at her and took a deep breath and said: "Mapleshade you have admitted what you have done and I value that in a warrior, you may raise your kits to hear, but the clan will know."

Mapleshade looked at him in surprise and smiled "Oh thank you Oackstar.I will forever cherish your choice."

Later in the clearing, all of Thunderclan was gathered and Oakstar started."One of our warriors is expecting kits.Mapleshade but the father is not in Thunderclan."At these words, all the cats whispered and looked at Mapleshade with hostility and distrust.

Oakstar continued."The father of the kits is Appledusk a Riverclan warrior."Then cats started to yell."Trator!"

Mapleshade hung her head, and when she thought her kits were going to be unwelcomed, Beetail spoke up."Are you all crazy?Mapleshade is one of the most valued warriors and she now realizes her mistake, for Appledusk had asked Reedshine to be his mate when he has Mapleshade."

Then all the cats looked at Mapleshade with pity and then Oakstar said:"Mapleshade and her kits should get their revenge on Appledusk when her kits are old enuff."Mapleshade looked around at her clanmates, then rested her head under Beetails and smiled for she knew that she had the most loyal cats to look after her and her kits.Maybe I could ask Beetail to be my mate Mapleshade thought happily.
