I watch as she gets carried out, me glaring uselessly at the white coats. 5 minutes. 10 minutes. 20. 40. It's been an hour, and my eyes light up as they walk back in, but the cage is empty.... Just like HIS was.... I start growling furiously. 'When I'm out, those bitches will pay. They will beg for their lives' I think, my wings twitching. My eyes droop, my blue eye trying to stay open, my red one welcoming the sleep.
