Jenny's POV

Jethro has been in the hospital room for ages, i won't admit it, but I am really worried, I hope everything went alright, I mean, I can't run NCIS without his help, he means the world to me, he is the love of my life, but it will take him a while to love me, after Shannon, he may never love properly again.

Tony POV

I woke up with Ziva beside me, and Gibbs in a chair passed out,

Tony: what's wrong with Gibbs

Ziva: oh, your awake, Gibbs, oh yeah, he gave blood for you, and the nurse either took to much, or something went wrong, I'm not sure which, but he is the reason you are alive

I tried to sit up, but my shoulder started shooting pain through my whole body.

Tony: Ziva, what even happened, why am I in the hospital

Ziva: you got shot, through and through, you lost a lot of blood, Gibbs basically saved you, oh and someone is definitely targeting the team

Tony: how long have you been here

Ziva: since you came in, which was around 9 hours ago

Gibbs started to wake up, he looked really pale.

Gibbs: DiNozzo, your awake!

Tony: yeah, thanks Gibbs, you saved me

Gibbs: don't worry about it, in essence your my son, I would do anything for you, I'm protecting my family

GIBBS POV

as soon as me and Dinozzo are out, I am going to do what I should have done before, everyone is staying in our biggest safe house, and no one is leaving unless completely necessary, until we find this son of a bitch, we will take all of our resources to the safe house, then we can catch him without being in the office.

Jenny comes into the room, nods at Ziva and DiNozzo, then walks over to me and hugs me, on impulse I hug back, she whispers words into my ear, I return words

Jenny: are you alright

Gibbs: yeah, I'm fine, I'm just worried about my team

Jenny: we are fine, but I have ordered the team to go into the safe house, the biggest one

Gibbs: you read my mind Jen

With that, she walked out, presumably to tell the rest of the team, considering Abby came bounding in followed by McGee, then Palmer, then Ducky, I guess she must have gone to tell the team.

~~2 days later~~

GIBBS POV

everyone is in the safe house, McGee, Abby, DiNozzo, Ziva, Jen, Palmer, Ducky and me. McGee has been trying to get the NCIS security camera tapes, but they are all blocked, none of us have high enough clearance, which is surprising, considering I'm me, and Jen is the bloody director, but what ever, my guess is we are being prevented from getting them, someone hacked our system.

1 day later

My assumptions were right, we were being prevented from getting our own security tapes, but McGee managed to counter act the hackers and we got our own stuff back.

McGee POV

I promised myself that I would never go out with her again, but for some reason however hard I tried, I never stopped loving her, and I just can't get over it, I have tried and tried again. I just can't get over her, and being in this bloody safe house with her makes it about 10 times harder to resist her beauty. I just can't. I think I'm in love!
