"ASARAK ROTELINJO!" I roared my energy sparking in iridescent waves around me. My skin was humming and tingling like it wanted to jump off my body. My incisors lengthened in my mouth and I hissed in anticipation of fighting my dejaino.

"I'm right here." He whispered against my ear, as I felt heat burn against my stomach and I was thrown across the field cracking the back of my head against the trunk of a tree.

I smiled wiping the blood off my face. He is a worthy opponent. I grinned, charging towards him. He face broke into a wide grin as his body multiplied around him, his image began flickering all around me attacking me with multiple weaves of earth, fire, wind and water.

I growled building a dome of earth and fire around me and listened to the rhythm of his attacks.

You can't stay in there forever! He roared and I laughed.

Of course not. I growled as I burst the dome away from me.

I turned around and gathering air in my fist and landed an upper cut to his gut, sending him flying into the sky.

I followed after him racing to attack him again. He growled, ice bursting from his fingertips towards me.

My hands blazed in fire to counter. I roared in frustration as roots snaked around my body, snuffing out the fire in my hands and pulling me towards the ground. The ice racing from his fingertips encased me in a tight bubble as I crashed to the ground.

I screamed in anger as my body engulfed in flames, burning away the roots and bursting through the cocoon of ice around me.

I quickly disappeared, dodging another wave of rocks and fire. I grinned, reappearing behind Darius, throwing a punch to the back of his head.

He quickly countered grabbing my fist, twisting my arm and throwing me over his shoulder driving me into the ground.

I laughed letting the ground consume me,  wrapping his arms in thick roots. He roared trying to pull his arms out of my grasp.

I slipped out of the ground and swiftly kicked him, catapulting him across the field.

You tired yet, lunto. I growled shooting across the field towards him.

Never, litani. He growled back as he jumped into the air. I followed, appearing in front of him and punching him in the face as he counter with a punch to my gut.

We continued to fight in the air, neither of us giving up or willing to stop. The more we fought, the more I felt my power building. He is bringing me to the edge of something that is about to burst inside of me.

And it feels good.

I threw my head back and laughed as I dodged his attacks. I felt my body shimmer and multiply around him. Whispers of tightly woven power wrapped around his unsuspecting body.

He growled at my amusement, reaching his hand back and slamming it forward to my face. I smiled lifting my hand, clenching my fists halting his oncoming punch.

His eyes grew wide as my tightly woven weaves tightened around him, pulling his arms tight to his side.

Gotcha, Litano. I grinned kicking him higher into the air.

I reappeared above him my arms raised above me, my energy sparking and swirling around me.

"I win, dejaino!" I roared clasping my fists over my head as my energy gathered around them. I slammed my fits into his chest. 

"Fuck!" He yelled as I slammed my fists into her his chest, sending him hurtling towards the ground. The ground shook and cratered from the force of his body hitting the ground. 

I dropped down from the sky, my chest heaving as I tried to catch my breath, my energy quaking and slowly giving out around me. Fuck, I can't go on if he gets back up. I staggered, but refused to fall. I will not tap out. I will not lose!

I heard Darius laughing and groaning from the bottom of the crater and my heart clenched. Dear God, he's going to keep going. I sucked in a breath, trying to keep the building vomit down. I have to keep it together.

"I tap out! I can't, I'm done." He called out and I let out a breath falling to my knees.

"Oh thank God." I groaned puking up the contents in my stomach. Fuck, I'm in so much pain.

"Asarak Rotelinja!" The Rekeseaus erupted in cheers around the field. I let out a breath, wiping my mouth as I shook my head. I suppose that's a fitting nickname now.

"It's perfect." Darius grinned and groaned in pain as he reached down to help me up. I winced holding on to him. Fuck, why can't I heal this pain?

"You're really weak right now, litani." He said lifting my chin to look at him. I wanted to laugh at his bruised and cut up face, but it took too much energy.

I fucked you up. I grinned and sucked in a breath of air at the pain. It hurts to smile?

You're not doing too well yourself. He chuckled but his face scrunched in pain.

"Jazmine holy shit! You are amazing." Vienne squealed as she ran over to us followed by the rest of his cheering family.

She crushed me with a hug and I gasped groaning in pain.

Darius, I whined. You're supposed to protect me! I whimpered and he groaned.

I know, I'm sorry, but it hurts so much to move right now. He breathed pressing his face against my hair.

"Thanks Vienne, but can you let me go?" I laughed as she jumped away from me.

"I'm so sorry." She blushed finally taking in my damaged state slouched against Darius.

"Jazy Jaz! Congrats on being the first kue to pass our test!" Byron laughed getting ready to slap my shoulder. Darius growled squeezing me tight to him. I felt him wince and shake in pain at the movement. Dear God we're broken.

You broke us. He groaned.

"Oh sorry I'm just so proud of you!" Byron gushed.

"I'm the first?" I breathed looking at his hazy face.

"Oh yes, elaeti no one has passed their ridiculous test but you. You are truly Ja'nua." Lana smiled and I blushed.

"Yes the Asarak Rotelinja. I haven't fought like that in a long time, Jaz. You really humbled some of my grandsons." Jack chuckled his eyes gleaming with pride. I smiled feeling my knees shaking as my adrenaline started to leave my body and I can feel our combined pain pulsing through my veins.

"Meilyn can you heal us before Jazmine and I pass out?" Darius breathed his arms were shaking around me.

"Oh! Ja'diem! I'm so sorry! I'm just not used to you being this beat up!" She laughed as I watched as lavender weaves of energy flowed from her fingertips, wrapping around our bodies righting the imperfections within us.

I took a deep breath feeling the pain numb inside of me. That helped at least I can breathe properly now, but I still feel completely depleted.

"Thank you." I sighed leaning against Darius feeling my eyes droop close. He chuckled lifting me in his arms.

Shut up, I still beat you. I mumbled feeling my body succumb to the exhaustion.

Rest, evela me. I'm so proud of you. He whispered kissing my forehead as I gave in to the exhaustion and my body fell limp in his arms. Only to be wakened by the feel of warm water enveloping my body.

"Darius." I gasped, my eyes fluttering open to find his light grey eyes smiling at me. 

"It's alright, tesora, just rest." He whispered kissing my forehead as he gently slid a soft sponge over my arms.

"That feels nice..." I mumbled my eyes drifting closed at the soothing feel of him washing my body.

"Evela'tu, litani." He chuckled softly kissing my hand.

"Ma'sun lefo, dejaino." I sighed a small smile on my lips as I let sleep claim me again.
