Quick warning, Things go from 0 to 100 real quick. There is a reason that I may or may not have forgotten and will probably explain later if I remember what it was. Also not my art!

Mabel's POV

I got back from my job at Sugarcube Corner and saw Dipper fast asleep in his room. I rarely saw him sleeping, so this was great! There were three weird books on his desk, but I'd ask him at Sunset. In the mean time I wanted to make supper, since he always made breakfast this was my job. I made some simple oats since I was tired from cooking and set up the table. I ate my share and brushed my teeth, then I heard the sound of his hooves. "Goodnight Mabel," he said energetically. "Goodnight Dipper. Oats are on the table," I said heading to my room. Since he sleeps during the day and is up all night goodnight means good morning for him. "Thanks Mabel," he said as he got out some milk from the fridge. I went to my room and got ready for bed. As I settled in to sleep I saw a light outside in the sky, it was a shooting star! I closed my eyes and made a wish that me and my brother could spend more time together. I then fell asleep.

As I walked around the pine forest I noticed something strange. Usually my dreams were colorful and upbeat, but everything was black and white and it felt unsettling. I turned to see that Dipper was here too, but he didn't look like himself. He was a human, and he was with the other me. They were both by a small river and I was wading in it. Dipper was reading some weird book and I sighed. "Dipper, when are you going to stop reading that dumb book? Let's have some fun!" the Mabel said nudging his arm with her hand. "Can't Mabel, I need to crack this code," Dipper responded without looking at her. She looked upset and stormed off. Dipper then snapped his head up and closed his book. "MABEL WAIT! DON'T LEAVE ME WITH THEM!" Dipper screamed trying to get up. But Mabel was long gone, and he was alone in the woods. I flapped my wings and flew over to him, but he couldn't see or hear me. He then looked around everywhere paranoid, his eyes wide with fear.

Then there were whispers, no, insults coming from nowhere. "How could you be such a failure?" one asked as the others said similar things. "I'm not a failure, and I know what I'm doing!" Dipper responded clutching his head like it was aching. "You know now the magic you mess with! We will turn you into the perfect vessel," the voice hissed making Dipper start to cry. "Please stop," Dipper whimpered falling to his knees. I stood next to him and tried to ask him what was wrong, but he couldn't hear. "I can make it all go away kid," said a floating pyramid that floated next to him. I swear he looked right at me, but Dipper held out his hand. "I don't care what you do, you can have my body! I'll do whatever you want, just make them stop!" Dipper said holding his hand out. The other took it and blue flames engulfed their hands. Everything started to become static like and I couldn't see what happened next. I then heard a scream and opened my eyes.

I realized that I had screamed because my throat felt sore. Thankfully Dipper was with Luna so I couldn't be bombarded with questions. I didn't know what that dream was, but I did know something was coming. Something big! I had to talk to Dipper about this, but that could wait until tomorrow. Sadly, I didn't want to go back to sleep. So I grabbed a few liters of Mabel Juice and started to knit a sweater with steady hooves. By the time I was done it was dawn already. I walked into the kitchen to see a sleepy Dipper making breakfast for me. "Hey brobro, I need help interpreting a weird dream I had," I said watching him make toast. He turned to me quickly and looked into my eyes.

He then rushed to his room and returned with a notepad. I sat on a chair and explained my dream in full detail. When I finished his eyes were wide with an emotion I couldn't identify. "So he looked like this," he asked showing me his drawing of the triangular demon. The drawing looked exactly like what I'd seen, and that worried me. "Did you see him too?" I asked shocked at all the little details he made. "No, I was with Luna sorting out a filly's nightmares," he said scribbling down something on his notepad. "Don't worry, you're fine. This is just a figment of your imagination I saw before," Dipper said making me let out a sigh of relief. "Sorry for scaring you Dip, I was just paranoid," I said hearing him laugh. "I know the feeling," he said getting out some Mabel Juice for me. I knew he was hiding something, I could feel it in my feathers! I was going to get to the bottom of this, and stop whatever my dream invader has planned for us.

Dipper and I got ready to go to the market place again so we could be ready for Nightmare Night. We had been going together since we were foals, and ponies adored our twin themed stuff. They don't judge us for going out even though we're almost adults, but they do give us a bit less candy than when we were younger. I was at the costume store and trying to find the perfect vampony costume. Dipper had already picked a werepony since he liked to be awake at night and a vampony just fit. I then noticed he was talking to some pony and went into super agent Mabel mode. I dropped the costume I was holding and hid behind a rack of others. They concealed me perfectly and I turned to look at them. He was just talking to Twilight, but they were laughing. I couldn't believe this! My brother had been nervous around her for months and it's like he changed over night. I strained my ears so that I could hear their conversation.

"So I was wondering if you'd like to come trick-or-treating with me and Mabel on Nightmare Night. We do it every year and we could share the haul. Ponies love to see twins in costumes!" Dipper said levitating his wolf costume. "That's cute, maybe me and my friends can go with you guys. It'd be Fluttershy's first Nightmare Night outside, and I want her to be surrounded with friends. What's your costume going to be?" Twilight said holding up her mad scientist costume. "I'm debating on a whether I should be a werepony or a wolf in sheep's clothing. Either way Mabel's vampire costume would still fit into the mix. Speaking of which have you seen her? I hope she isn't trying to buy stuff to prank me with," Dipper said looking in different directions. I felt that the perfect moment to make my entrance. I walked on over and said, "Hey Dipper, hey Twilight! What are you guys talking about?" "I was hoping they'd join us for Nightmare Night or if at the very least Twilight and I can compare our studies. You wouldn't mind if they joined us would you, I kind of forgot to ask before we left," Dipper said sheepishly. "Of course they can come! The more the merrier," I said pretending to be surprised. "Thanks Mabel! So I'll see you at your library at 4:00 PM to compare notes before we hunt for sweets?" Dipper asked turning back to Twilight. "Of course, see you two later," she said flew off.

I nudged my brother's side with my wings and said, "Sooooo, you finally got a date!" Instead of the reaction I was expecting he replied, "Yup!" I stood there shocked at the fact he didn't deny it. "Wait wait what? You accept it as a date?!" I asked shocked. "Why do you find it so hard to believe that Dipper Pines can get a date?" he asked looking at me. "Because you're Dipper Pines, the stallion who acts so nervous around mares that as a foal flat out hid from them!" I said then realizing what tone I said it in. "I take full offense to that Mabel! And don't you act like you're the love expert! You'll date any stallion that looks your way, even if they only glance at you!" Dipper snapped making me take a step back. "Oh yeah? Well at least I have ponies look my way! Most mares don't even have a glance to spare! Twilight only knows you because of that stupid apprenticeship!" I said as we were both now screaming.

"METAL MOUTH!" Dipper screamed making me lick my braces. "CRAZY NIGHT OWL!" I screamed not willing to let him get the last word in. By now a crowd of ponies gathered to watch, but none dared stop us. "BOOK WORM!" I screamed watching him blush with rage. "ILLITERATE FOAL!" Dipper shouted back as I prepared my next insult. My wings flared out as I said, "DREAM STALKER!" He looked so mad that his horn was glowing. Twilight had flown back and was trying to break us up. Dipper then shot blue flames at me that landed only a few feet in front of me. That was what made me snap out of it. His magic was green like our eyes instead of its usual midnight blue. Twilight seemed shocked and turned to Dipper, who's horn was covered in purple magic bubbles. "That's dark magic," Twilight said in awe and shock. He was still mad but then was sad like the flick of a switch. After quickly looking at the scene before him he took a step back. "Dipper wait!" Twilight and I said at the same time. He just shook his head and looked scared. He then turned and the crowd parted swiftly like they were afraid he'd attack.

He then ran right through and I saw tears fall to the ground as he ran. He nearly dropped his saddlebag and the three books from earlier fell out. He picked them up with his now normal looking magic and kept running. Twilight and I flew after him and followed him back to our house. When we threw open the door we heard a sound from his room. We found the window wide open and his writing bag was gone. It was full of notes, parchment, ink, and quills. We then saw him running in the direction of the Everfree Forest and followed him. When we found him we saw he had trapped himself in a force field and was flipping through the third book. "Dipper please come back! You can explain later but we'll understand," Twilight pleaded taking a few steps towards the force field. "Only two beings could possibly understand! Luna and one other. One other that you are about to see," he said taking chalk and candles out of his magic supply bag (that thing is seemingly bottomless). He drew a summoning circle that Twilight didn't seem to know. He filled in the symbols we saw in the book and saw our cutie marks on it. "Dipper what are you about to summon that involves your cutie marks?!?" Twilight asked confused. "A being with answers!" was all Dipper said before he used his horn to cast a spell.

A flash of light blue light blinded us. The world's color was fading and me and Twilight's wings were spread out in fear. Our eyes were wide at the sight of him, it was the creature from my dream. "So pine tree, I see you've tried that spell from those books I gave you. And I must say that I'm impressed, even when your mind was clouded by rage you managed to cast it perfectly just like yours truly," the triangle said lighting his hand on fire. It was the exact same kind that Dipper shot at me. "What are you?" Twilight asked curious and scared at the same time. "Where are my manners? The name's Bill Cipher and I'm a dream demon. I met pine tree here last night and we had a little chat. I offered him the opportunity to be my apprentice in exchange for an insider. But I see now that it won't work out like that. Those ponies probably blabbed from here to the moon. My former student will probably appear any second now," Bill said breaking my brother's force field with a snap of his fingers. "You're just like Discord," I said comparing the two.

"I'm insulted! That statue couldn't rule this dimension even when he beat the element bearers. I get straight to the point and make deals with ponies. As a matter of fact pine tree here wanted to make a deal. So what are the terms?" he said turning to my brother for the last part. "You take me on as an apprentice and I'll swear my loyalty," Dipper said making us gasp. "Not enough pine tree. I'll need just a tiny bit more. One of the reasons I chose you was because Sparkle doesn't want anything to do with dark magic, but you curiosity knows no bounds pine tree! Use your imagination to figure out something you could get for me to seal the deal," Bill said floating over to my brother. "I'll bring you the elements of harmony! You need some pony to steal them for you since your kind has no dominion in our world. You need a creature of flesh and bone to take it for you and I'm offering," Dipper said extending his hoof. "You've convinced me, it's a deal!" Bill said taking Dipper's hoof. Both were covered in blue flames but neither flinched. "I'll follow you around and help you a bit, that much I can do," Bill said as the world gain it's color again. At that moment my brother teleported and we were left alone in the Everfree Forest.

Twilight quickly teleported us to her library and we saw Dipper was giving Bill the elements. "You're too late shooting star!" Bill said grabbing them and burning them until they were nothing but ashes. He laughed as Twilight started to cry. "I'd love to stay and chat but I've got a unicorn to teach," Bill said about to disappear. "Stop right there you wicked creature," a voice called from behind us. We turned to see princess Luna with her horn lit and ready to attack. "Well well well, if it isn't me old student! Come out wish my new apprentice good luck?" Bill asked grinning with his eye. "I came to stop him from being seduced by your dark magic. I will not let him take the same path as I did all those moons ago!" Luna said pointing her horn at Bill. He just laughed and floated there, completely ignoring the fact that she was threatening him.

3rd Person POV

Dipper then lit his horn and pointed it at Twilight. "Do it and I shoot," he said as the purple magic covered his horn. "Dipper," Twilight said shocked. Luna stopped her magic and Dipper stopped his. Then he cast a spell and the windows darkened. All the candles in the room were blown out, and the only light source was Twilight's magic. "We are too late, he is already using the magic we used!" Luna said as we watched shadows creep towards him. They rose from the ground and wrapped around him. "Bill?" Dipper asked a bit nervously. "This is necessary pine tree, unless you don't want to know all the secrets of the universe," Bill said lighting his hands with blue flames. "I do, I wanna know! Whatever it takes to understand magic and everything there is to know out there, I'll do it!" Dipper said as the shadows were up to his neck. They then continued to wrap around him until he was completely consumed by them. It then was absorbed by his body and his mane turned golden, eyes changing shape and color. He screamed in agony ad Bill said, "You signed up for this kid. Power doesn't come cheap! Not that I have the element's magic, I can have a physical form!"

He then went through his own transformation. When they were both over Dipper was very different. His cutie mark, mane, and tail golden and sparkling with power, flowing almost like Luna's mane. Bill was three dimensional and laughing evilly. Dipper grinned at us with shark sharp teeth that seemed to be made from his own flesh and stretched to be that sharp. We also noticed his inky black wings, and he flapped them and hovered above the ground. They all were shocked and took a step back. His horn lit up with glittery golden magic. "Hey sister, why so scared? I'm better than ever, and I know everything!" he said flying closer to her. A part of Twilight wanted to point out how weird it was that he learned to fly before she did, like WAY before, but she ignored it for now. "Please my pupil, do not make the same mistakes we did! This is not the answer!" Luna said trying to plead with him.

"You failed because your goal was unrealistic, and your will not strong enough! I have a set goal and a stronger will, so I can take all this magic in at once. Is this what it felt like for you to be able to do anything? Because it's amazing!" Dipper said as Twilight flew in front of all of them. "Dipper stop this or I'll have to banish you!" she said pointing a glowing horn at him. "Oh I'm so scared! Go ahead and try! History won't repeat itself and I'm sure of it!" Dipper said landing on the ground and waiting for her to shoot. She did. It was a strong blast that was heading right towards him. He then made a shield that was golden and we watched as the spell was reflected and hit Twilight herself. She fell down onto the ground and then disappeared. They then looked up and saw that through a gaping hole made when she was forced into the sky, was a constellation that looked just like her cutie mark. Luna and I took a step back, neither wanting to be banished. "Nice job Pine tree! A simple spell like that was enough to send a Princess to the stars! Let's see what'll happen to shooting star!" Bill said as Dipper hesitated. "Why? She isn't a threat!" he said voice shaking only slightly. Neither of the powerful being seemed to noticed the slight tremble his legs made when he was nervous, but Mabel did. He was still her brother, those little quirks gave her hope. The thing that gave her the most hope was that she could slightly see a golden constellation on his forehead.

"You have a point, and she can help my ex-pupil spread the word that this dimension is under new rule!" Bill said after a brief moment of consideration. Luna shot him from behind, burning his back and making it blister. He turned his body slowly as it regenerated, his eye a bright red that showed he was not pleased. Mabel took a few steps back as Bill started laughing. "Real funny eclipse, but I'm not IN THE MOOD!!!" Bill roared as his hands lit up with blue flames. "Flee young one, it is not safe here!" Luna exclaimed with enough authority to make Mabel bolt out the door and start flapping her wings. She had to save them, had to get help. She wasn't about to abandon her sibling and leave him at that sadistic triangle's mercy. She would come back for him.

Here's where things get interesting. I had two plots in mind for this story. the first is this one that jumps straight to the action, and the second was more of a slow burn. Instead of choosing I wrote this one first and will publish the other one when I write it. The second will have more social interactions while this one will be more action-packed and dramatic.
