Ross' pov also time skip to tomorrow morning

"Ross! Wake up!" I heard Shelby scream. "Five more minutes!" I yelled back. "Your gonna be late for school! Hurry up!" I groaned and got up. I got dressed brushed my hair and brushed my teeth. I went to the kitchen, ate breakfast and went out the door. While I was walking to school I saw Todd. I tried to quietly walk past him but that didn't work. He grabbed my arm and dragged me to an alley. "Listen Todd I need to go I'm gonna be late for school" I said. "Your not gonna go to school. If you don't want your mom and dad to find out. Then your gonna stay here and talk" Todd said giggling a bit. "F-fine I'll talk" I said. "Good. Now we want you to do something for us" Todd said. "And what would that be" I said looking down at the ground. "1. We want you to do all our homework. 2. We want you to break up with max" he said. "Todd. You can beat me up until I die. I am not breaking up with max!" I said.

Max's pov

I was walking to school when I heard someone say "I am not breaking up with max!" It sounded like Ross. I looked over to an alley and saw ross with Todd and his possy. Todd raised his fist, before he hit Ross I said "Todd! How dare you touch MY boyfriend after what I said to you" I shouted. Todd turned to me and laughed "max it's either I hurt him or his parents hurt him" he said. As they focused their attention on me. Ross made a run for it he ran passed them and behind me. "Hey! Get back here you little fag!" Todd said. I grabbed ross' hand and we ran to school. Once we got to the school Ross ran to his class so he wouldn't be late. I went to my locker to get my textbooks then I went to class.

Time skip to lunch

As I was in the lunch line getting my lunch I saw Todd. He was talking to Ross. When I finished getting my food I went over to them. "Ross lets go eat outside" I said, Ross stood up and followed me. I felt todd glare me down. Me and ross decided to eat by a tree in the courtyard. "Ross what did Todd say to you" I said talking a sip of my chocolate milk. "H-he said that I had to do his homework and break up with you. So my parents won't find out that i-im gay" he said shaking a lot. "Ross it's okay. Trust m-" I was cut off by Ross speaking. "Max you don't know how hard my life is. Even before I came out as gay Todd still beat me up. What is so wrong with me to make everyone hate me before they even know me" he said starting to cry. "Ross. Nothing is wrong with you. People are just too impatient to know the real you" I said. "T-thank you max" he said. I hugged him and he hugged back "no problem" then the bell rang and we went to science.

Time skip to max's house

"Mom! I'm home from school!" I yelled entering the house. "Um. Max ross' parents want to talk to you" my mom said pointing to the living room. "Hi. Mrs and Mr. Lapuris" I said waving nervously. "Could you excuse us please. We would like to talk to max alone" said Ross' mom. "Oh um. Sure. We'll be in the next room" my mom and dad left the room leaving me alone with ross' parents. "So max. Ross' friend Todd told us that you two were dating" she said. "Todd is not a friend of Ross" I said clenching my fists. "We don't care about that. Are you dating our son" said his dad. "Why are you asking me this you should be asking Ross" I said. "We already did. He said you guys weren't dating" she said. "Then n-" I was interrupted by a knock on the door. "Excuse me" I said walking to the door. I opened the door to see Todd. "Todd go away" I said. "Oh max is that Todd. Bring him inside" I sighed and let him in. He sat down next to the spot I sat down at. Then my phone beeped.

R: hey my parents are coming to your house. Don't tell them were dating. Okay?

M: they're already here. And I won't tell them. I know they'll hurt you.

R: thanks max

M: no problem babe

Ross' pov

"D-did he just call me babe!?" I said to myself. Shelby over heard me and said "who called you what!?" She took my phone and read the messages. "I don't trust him" she said, "you don't need to trust him, only I need to. And can you stop acting like a mom for 3 seconds, please!?" I said rolling my head back in an annoyed expression. She just rolled her eyes and went to her room. I turned off my phone and went to my own room to do my homework.

Max's pov because I can

"So are you and ross dating" said Mrs. Lapuris. "No we're not" I said. Luckily Todd went to the bathroom so he couldn't say I was lying. Ross' parents then said thank you and left. But I was left alone in my living room with Todd. "Okay Todd I think you should go now" I said trying to get him to leave. "Just a second there max. You wouldn't want your dad to find out now do you" I looked at the ground. "I guess you can stay longer" I said through my teeth. "Maybe I'll stay the night" he said with an evil smirk on his face. "Fine" I said going to my room with Todd behind me. "Mom! My... friend...is staying the night" I said closing my bedroom door.

Todd's pov & time skip

"Who you texting?" I asked max. I need him to break up with Ross. Why you must be asking, because fags like them shouldn't be together and I sorta like max. "I'm texting Ross" he said looking up from his phone. "Todd, why are you so mean. You seem like a nice person when your not punching Ross or me" he said putting his phone in his pocket. "I'm not nice!" I shouted, "dude chill, it was a compliment" "Why are you complementing me?" I asked. "Because even the meanest person can become the nicest person" he said. "I don't get it?" "You don't have to get it. Todd why do you even hurt Ross". I could feel my face go pink "he's just a dork" "what did he do to you todd". "He..." then I was interrupted by my phone going off.
