Max's pov

I walked out to the living room to see my mom. "Hey mom. My friend Ross wants to know if I can go over to his house for dinner tomorrow" I said. "Who is Ross" my dad said entering the room. "Oh..he's a friend I met today" I said rubbing the back of my neck. Then my phone went off. I checked it and it was from ross.

R: my parents want to meet your parents if that's okay.

"Um. Mom, dad. Ross' parents want to meet you. So if I go you can come too" I said. "We would love too" my mother said. I texted Ross back saying they would love too.

Time skip to tomorrow night and ross' pov

I was setting up for dinner. 'This has to be perfect' I thought. "Ross! Clean your room!" Shelby yelled. "I will in a sec!" I finished setting up and ran to my room. 'Wait I cleaned my room earlier'. I walked in to see Shelby on my bed. "Shelby. What are you doing" I said sitting next to her. "Listen Ross. I'm proud that you have a boyfriend. But don't try anything while he's here" she said. "Shelby! What the Hell!" I yelled. "Ross. Chill. I just don't want your parents to hurt you" she said. "Shelby. We're sixteen! I'm not gonna try anything" I said. "Ross! Max is here!" My mom yelled. I quickly rushed out to greet max. "Hey max you wanna play some video games in my room" I said. "Sure!" He said we went to my room and I turned on my Xbox. "Hey max what do you want to pl-" I was cut off by a pair of lips on mine. I kissed back. "M-max we can't do this here" I said in the kiss. "My parents might catch us" I said "come on. Your doors closed. They won't catch us" he said. "Only for a little bit. Okay?". "Whatever you say princess" he said making me blush a little.

Time skip

There was a knock on the door. "Max..stop" I said into the kiss. I answered the door. It was max's mom. "Um..Max it's your mom" I said Turing to face max. "Hey mom. What do you want" max said. "Oh I just came to check in on you" she said slowly stepping into the room. "So max. Is this your boyfriend!" She said excitedly. "Um..yea mom this is Ross. Ross this is my mom. Jess" he said. "Nice to meet you Ross" she said. "Nice to meet you too" I said shaking her hand. "Well boys, dinner will be done in a little bit" she said walking out. "Wait mom! Um..did you mention us to ross' parents?" Max said looking at her worried. "No I didn't. Should I?" "No! Please no!" I almost screamed. "Ross' parents are homophobes. So if they find out they will hurt him" max said. She nodded and walked out. Me and max decided to play video games.

Max's pov

I really hope my mom doesn't tell ross' parents. She's a sweet person so I doubt she'll tell them. "Hey Ross if your parents ever kick you out you can always live with me and my family" I said. Ross sighed and looked at the floor. "Is your dad a homophobe?" He asked me. "Well..ya but my mom can talk to him. It will be okay Ross" I said trying not to cry. "What about Todd max? He will beat me up again and again" a tear escaped his eyes. "Ross I took care of Todd. He won't lay a finger on you. If he does tell me right away". "Okay max I will"
