The door shuts and that's when I drop the facade. Tears instantly trail down my face and I can feel my hands shaking. I clasp them together, hoping to hide their unsteadiness, but I'm know I'm caught when Ethan wraps his arm around my neck and pulls me to him.

"It's okay, Tobi."

It's really not. I wrap my arms around Ethan and bury my face in his shoulder. I let the sobs overwhelm me. My mark burns, a sign of distress on not only my end, but Harry's as well.

Something soft and fuzzy pushes at my legs and I unwrap myself from Ethan. At my feet is Josh, still in wolf form. I reach my hand out and stretch gently behind his ears. His eyes close briefly before he opens them again and looks a bit sheepish.

"Hungry?"

His tail thumps excitedly on the floor. His jaw drops a bit and his tongue lulls out. Thankfully, no saliva drops to the ground.

"Ya know. For a wolf. He is. Adorable."

I turn to Simon, whose eyes are barely open, but he has a death grip on Vik. Ethan crosses over to them with a towel in his hand. He places it down on the blood pool that is encircling the pair.

"I'm gonna run to mine and get some clothes. I know Josh has some at my house. Do you want anything while I'm out?"

Simon rolls his head to look at Ethan. He gives an exhausted smile, and gestures to his pocket. Ethan reaches in and pulls out a wallet. Opening it, several bills fall out. Our eyes open wide at the value.

"Take it. Don't. Have much use. Buy what you need."

"Simon-."

"No. Take. Gift."

Simon's head falls back onto the couch and we can tell he's now asleep. We stare at each other in shock for a bit.

"Okay, feed Josh. I'll be back with groceries and clothes. Uh, send me their sizes I guess. I'll just get the new clothes, cause yeah."

"Yup. Just bring back food for everyone. I doubt Vik has much to offer."

Josh nuzzles into my hand and I wave as Ethan hurried out the door.

"Just another day in our crazy lives."

If a wolf could laugh, Josh is fucking close. The door opens back up and Ethan pokes his head in.

"You sure you don't need anything, Tobs?"

"I don't need anything. Thanks though."

I need my soulmate.
