Eren: Hey Armin, you wanna go to town and hang out? You choose local!

Armin: You got it Er. Meet you at your house in a few minutes!

Eren: Got it.

Eren put his phone back in his pocket and went downstairs. He wanted to talk to Armin. After grabbing his lanyard he locked the door and waited on the curb for the blonde to arrive.

As promised just a few minutes later Armin arrived, smiling brightly. "Hey Eren!" He pulled him into a light hug. "Hey Armin. Ready to go?" Blonde hair and blue eyes nodded. "Although you aren't. Go get your swimsuit." Eren just then noticed the red swim trunks on Armin. He nodded and ran back inside, switching out jeans for blue trunks. He decided to leave his phone, so Armin would have to translate anything he said.

The pair walked to the community pool they had, Eren using his pool pass to get in that proved he was a resident. They lived in the same neighborhood, considering it was giant. Almost the whole school lived in this neighborhood, except a few who lived in apartments.

There were a ton of people there today. It was great day to swim actually. Eren recognized a few people but not anybody he really knew. He was thankful for this. He was very self conscious and when he had to take off his shirt he didn't want his friends, except Armin of course, to see.

They chose a pair of deck chairs and Armin took off his shirt. "I'm going in. Meet you there slow poke!" Armin ran and jumped into the pool, causing a few kids to laugh with delight at the large splash. Eren smiled at the sight. Armin was great with kids.

He still wanted to talk to Armin but decided on later. First let them have fun.

After a few minutes Eren finally got too hot and took off his shirt. Mikasa and Armin always told him he shouldn't he self conscious about his body, but of course he never listens. He understood where they came from though. He stood at a good height, had naturally tan skin that set off his brown hair and green eyes. He a slight amount of muscle from constantly running, but for the most part he was just skinny and had legs and arms like a girl. People often said he had a lot of feminine quality to him, which he never took as a compliment.

He sat back on the chair and watched all the kids, adults, lifeguards, and the Armin have fun. Talking happily and playing together.

Suddenly a hand clamped down on his shoulder and ripped him from the chair. He looked up to see who is was. When he saw hatred coursed through him. Jean Kierstein. (A/N: don't know if that's right but it is now! My story!)

"Look who it is. The fag himself." Jean smirked and pushed him back, causing him to fall. "What your girly legs can't hold you up?" (A/N: I don't like "fag" or "faggot" but it's for his current character! Bear with me!)

Eren stared daggers into the dirty blonde's eyes. He loathed Jean. The guy picked on him every chance he got. Jean loved making Eren mad. It was because of Eren's temper that he was constantly getting in trouble, making Mikasa save his ass. But he couldn't help it, this guy made him angry.

Normally by now he would've punched that smug ass grin off his face but they were surrounded by kids. He didn't want to be a bad role-model after all.

Eren stood back up and just glared at him. "Tch, sissy ass." Jean suddenly picked up Eren and launched him into the pool, laughing his ass off.

Eren hit the water with a smack that did not feel good at all. He sunk to the bottom of the ten-foot pool and quickly swimmed his way back up, gasping for air when he broke surface. His whole body hurt from impact. He flopped back into the cement, coughing and gasping. Fucking horse-faced asshole.

"Eren! What happened?!" Armin came running over to him, leaning him up. Eren quickly signed all that happened. "Oh Eren I'm sorry. Jean can be pretty mean. Why don't we just leave?"

Eren was about to tell Armin he didn't have to when a voice interrupted before he could sign. "I'll take him home for you." Levi.
