As we pulled up into Matt's driveway, Melissa looked at me through the seat and then got out, me following her to get her bags. As soon as we got them, she lead me to the door and knocked on the door. I however, motioned for her to just open the door. She sighed and opened it. "Matt!" I yelled up. "What?" came his muffled voice from upstairs. "I brought Melissa and her stuff. All twenty of her bags." I replied. Melissa looked at me, "I didn't bring twenty bags, I only brought five bags." I just looked at her and laughed. Matt came downstairs and took her bags from me and brought her upstairs. "See you tomorrow, Matt." "You too, Stevo."

As we pulled up it not my driveway, it was about 5:00. Almost as soon as the car stopped, Jason hopped out and headed for the house. He opened the door and left it for me. I grabbed my bag and followed him. My dad met me at the door. "Hey, Stephen." my dad said,"Did you pick up the transfer student?" I nodded, "Where else would I have been?" I asked. "You never know. You and Jason could've gone over to some girls house and-". "Dad, do you really think that I would do that?" He laughed and said, "Dinners on the table." I quickly went to my room and dropped my bags off. Then I went to the table and ate my dinner. 

While I was eating, my mother made small talk about my day. I answered all of her questions very boredly until she started talking about my party. "Yeah and we invited all of the girls over 16 that don't have a mate yet. So that you can find your mate as quickly as possible. You don't want your brother to be the alpha of the pack, do you?" I glanced at her suddenly, "Of course I don't want Jason to be the alpha. I've waited to be the alpha my whole life. I don't intend to stop now." My mother looked pleased and we ended dinner in silence.

As soon as dinner was over, I ran to my room, finished what little homework my teachers gave me, and the started to play Call of Duty. I only finished one mission before my phone rang. I checked the caller ID. Some number that I don't know. Okay, what to do. I know, lets answer it.

So I did. 

A mysterious gruff voice answered the phone, "Hello, is this Stephen?" "Ummm, yeah, this is Stephen." I said skeptically."I just want to thank you." Mr. Mysterious said. 

"What for, if I may ask?"

"For taking my girlfriend to the place where she will be staying. That's what."

"And who is your girlfriend?"

"For being the smartest guy in your school, you're not very smart. My girlfriend is Melissa, the girl you got off the plane."

"Ohhhhh, that makes sense. You didn't have to call me to thank me you know. By the way, what is your name?"

The line went dead. What a weird phone call.
