"Okay, class, for today, you guys get the day off. Go hang out with some of the Seniors that won't go away." The whole class started cheering. Mr. Brett probably just wanted us to be out of his sight so that he could visit his mate and little three year old boy that looked just like him.

I headed out of his room and texted Matt

Me: Hey, Matt meet me in front of the cafeteria.

Matt: Okay, why... Brett let you guys out of class?

Me: yeah

Matt: Is my mate gonna be there?

Me: I can bring her with me

Matt:     

Matt: 

Matt: I'll be there

That was basically how our conversation went. After we had finished that, I went and found Maddie. "Hey, Maddie, Matt and I are meeti-" I started. She had run out of the door dragging me behind her. Apparently she already knew where we usually me, so she brought me to the cafeteria. Quite suprisingly, Matt was already there. Maddie walked up to Matt and Matt gave her a kiss on the forehead, "I love you baby." he told her. It was like I didn't exist. All of his attention was focused on Maddie. It drove me nuts. Then again, I figured that I would be the same after I found my mate.

"Hey, Stephen, you wanna go to your house? We can come back to school in time for first period." Matthew said. "I suppose so..... But why do you want to go?" I asked him. "I want to show Maddie your house." I laughed. "More like where the upstairs bedrooms are." I told him. I looked over at Maddie and I saw her blush a deep red color. "Yeah, I guess so, but Maddie has never been over to Alpha Alexander's house." Matt told me. "Alright, we can take my car." I replied. "Ah, yes, the only one who's not old enough to drive out of our group is going to drive us." Stephen said sarcastically. "Lets go." I said, then started runing to my car.

I then opened the door to my car and hopped into the driver's seat. Matt came a moment later and plopped down in the passenger's seat, with Maddie sitting on his lap. As I drive home, which only took a couple of minutes, Matt started talking to me. "Hey, what do you think your parents are going to do for your birthday next week?" he asked me. "I don't know, probably a party in the backyard with a professional rock band blaring." I told him. "What do you think they're going to get you for your birthday?" he asked me. "Geez, all these questions, I feel like I'm in a line-up. Anyways, I really don't know..... They kind of just get me whatever." "Oh, okay." Matt casually turns on his phone, "Holy Alpha! Look at the time, we've got to be going." He throws me my keys and we get in my car. We zoom down the road, to the school, and get out of the car. We sprint into our first period classes just as the bell rings.
