Meanwhile at Cecil's lair

"Status report.", Cecil commanded.

"Y-yes sir...", Joseph says, "according to the report, our bear has been defeated by Carter and is on his way back. Nero and his group are also very near."

Cecil looks at Joseph pounds his table in anger, his fist was clenched. His blood boiled in rage. "WHAT! Call out The Treacherous Twelve, they'll be able to get rid of those mangy scoundrels if they arrive here."

Joseph calls out the most savage animals they have: Micah, who was a jaguar; Alexa, who was a big cat hybrid; Alfred, who was a clouded cheetahpard; Kate, who was an Asian gold cat; Oliver, who was a golden tabby tiger; Bullseye, who was a cheetahpard; Scooter, who was a clouded cheetah; Jesse, who was a wolf; Hadrian, who was a leopard; Damien, who was a cheetah; Jewel, who was a
jaguar/leopard hybrid; and Maximus, who was a Bernese mountain dog.

As soon as the bounty hunters watch the entrance to the lair, Cecil twiddles his fingers and laughs evilly.
"This'll be a fun show to watch!", Cecil snarled in ecstasy as he watches from his security cameras from his room. His excitement soon drains quickly from his body and replaced with frustration as Ruby starts bawling.

Nero's POV

I start to pant heavily "Are we near yet?", I ask. My paw pads were starting to ache quickly. "Yep...", Dianna replied, "just seven more miles and we're there!"

My heart sank like a ship, "S-s-seven miles.", I say sadly. Cody hits me with his paw, "don't feel bad, bud, it'll go by quickly."

I sigh and continue to walk, step by step, each step felt like an hour. One mile, two miles, three miles, four miles, five miles, six and seven miles, it all felt like an eternity of walking and foot aches.

I look up at the high mountain, "Is this it?", I ask. Diogenes nodded, "Yup, now let's start climbing!"
He points to a stairway carved into the mountain, 'This is gonna be easy!', I thought.

~time skip~

By the time we reached the mountain, which was really high up, we all collapsed simultaneously like trees that have been chopped down. We all panted heavily.
Balto hits my side, "Nero, remember what we're here for!", he reminded me.

I got up from the stone floor and got close to the obsidian black gates. I touched the door with my paw, it felt like stiff wood. "Toriel, light this door on fire!", I commanded.
Toriel raised her paw and shoots out a flame of fire directly at the door, turning it into ashes blacker than it was before. We all burst into the lair. Suddenly we were surrounded by twelve animals. "You will not pass this area!", the jaguar hissed.

I scoff, "We'll see about that!", I say boastfully. The cheetah pounces at me and scratches my side as he pinned me down.

I looked up and saw everyone fighting. My claws soon escaped their sheaths and I kicked the cheetah with my hind legs, knocking down one of the vases where he landed. CRASH! It landed on his head. I laughed like a maniac, he growled at me.

He got up and locked his jaws on my neck. I hiss in pain and kicked his underbelly. He yelped and let go. I caught my breath and pounced on top of him and grabbed his neck with my mouth. The cheetah started to scratch my underbelly, leaving scars all over it, which was pretty painful, thank God it wasn't bleeding, otherwise I would've died.

Something pounced onto my back and scratched it. I yelp in pain and looked behind me, I saw a wolf on my back. He sinks his teeth into my skin, like a knife cutting through meat. I suddenly got up and started to buck like a mechanical bull. "YEEHAW!!", the wolf exclaimed while riding me.

I growled angrily, which made him take his teeth off my back. He stepped on my tail, which was already enough pain for me to tolerate and he called out a Bernese mountain dog. "Oh god please no!", I pleaded.

The dog simply bit my muzzle, making it hard for me to breathe. I scratch his face, leaving three scars right where I struck. He lets go and bites my front leg, leaving blood right where he bit me.

A human walks into the fight. Suddenly, I remember when Ruby was kidnapped. "THAT'S THE GUY!", I blurted out while pointing to him, "he's the one who kidnapped the human cub!"

Stop the music

The twelve animals huddled together, "Cecil captured a human!?", a leopard said, "This is outrageous!"

"Should we attack?", the cheetah said.

They nodded simultaneously and joined our side.

The human scratches his chin, he grabs a red remote with a black button shaped like a cage. "Say goodbye to your friends! As for the twelve of you, you'll meet the same fate!", he snarled, "release Israel!"

He pressed the button, I hear a loud BUZZ!, and I rolled away. A huge cage sealed everyone in, especially Cody.
I reach out my paw, "Cody!"
He dangled the key in front of me, "Aww what's the matter kitty?", he said sarcastically, "do you want the key for your friends..."

He put the keys in his pocket and released a lion, "Then fight for it!", he hissed.

The lion stared at me with his eyes while growing lowly. I knew this was the end.
