I sighed as I hopped into bed. Another day gone, another dream coming.

Then I thought about what Savannah said. Could I do it? I decided for it and grabbed a blanket from the closet of junk. I hugged it tightly under my arm and waited for sleep to come.

I opened my eyes to see the sky. I looked around and noticed I was I top of a tree. I looked down at my arms and saw that the blanket was tucked under my arm. I smiled, but when I tried to move it, it stayed floating where my arm was. My hand went right through it, making it transparent. I shrugged. It still was progress.

I climbed through the tree and hopped down on the ground. Fire shot up my legs as I landed on my feet. It was the first pain I felt since last night. I began running through the forest in which hundreds of trees lay, leaving the blanket floating on the top if the tree. I panted as I ran, air filling my lungs. The sun was shining and when I looked up, there were two suns.

It felt like a dessert with tons of trees. I guess it was. My foot slipped as the dirt became sand. The trees disappeared and the dream became a full on dessert. Few shrubs lined the area as I kept running. When I looked behind me, the forest was gone and I was left alone in a dessert.

Up ahead, I saw a fountain. Thankful for water, I sprinted to it. Sweat poured down my body. The water shimmered in the fountain with beauty and I touched it, the water cold as ice on my fingers. it caused a ripple effect to flow throughout the fountain. Instead of disappearing at the other edge of the fountain, it kept going... making a weird ripple effect go through the air. I could see the ripple keep going, and instead of drinking the water, I followed the ripple.

As I continued through the dessert, it became hotter. More suns appeared in the sky, and the sky itself became brighter. I looked up and saw 4 suns. Looked down, back up. 8 suns. Looked down, back up. 16 suns.

I continued following the ripple until I reached a hill where a person stood. My entire body swam in a pool of sweat, I almost felt like I was going to die. Stumbling up to the person, I could make out their features.

Short brown hair, green eyes, my height, my age. She looked at me happiness, wanting, and worry. Three emotions in her eyes held their place as I collapsed onto the sand. I felt it go around my body.

Hear stroke approached me as I stared at Savannah. She just stared back at me with a plain face. My mouth hug open, gasping for air from the heat. It was so hot, the only air I got was humidity. Finally, there was no air left for me to take in, so my vision blacked with my last memory of Savannah

My eyes popped open in my bed and my hand reached for the covers. I instantly flung them off the bed and gasped for air. Heat escaped my lips and cool air sucked them in. My lungs felt like doused fire as the ice air came into my heart.

With the covers on the floor, I laid in my bed, a pool of sweat around me. I managed to sit up and felt the sticky, leftover sweat leave my body. My tank top and silky pants were soaked. My body felt amazed at the air conditioner that swept over it.

I closed my eyes briefly to enjoy the cool air. The heat is gone.

Very thankful for that.
