Chapter 11
The first day back to light practice was tense.
Dohoon tested his ankle carefully.
One step.
Then another.
Hanjin stayed close — not obvious, but near enough to catch him if needed.
When they reached the turn where he had fallen before, Dohoon hesitated.
Just for a second.
Hanjin stepped slightly closer in formation.
"You've got this," he murmured as they crossed paths.
Dohoon moved.
The step landed clean.
No pain.
No slip.
After rehearsal, when the others left, Dohoon remained standing in the center of the room.
Hanjin walked toward him.
"You were amazing," he said softly.
Dohoon shook his head slightly.
"I was scared."
"I know."
A small silence.
Then Dohoon stepped forward and wrapped his arms around Hanjin.
Tight.
Grounded.
"I don't say it enough," Dohoon murmured near his ear, "but I needed you."
Hanjin's breath caught.
"You have me," he whispered back.
Always.
And for the first time since the fall, Dohoon let himself lean.
Not as a leader.
Not as the strong one.
Just as someone loved.
