Rylan's Pov
I wake up the next morning and slightly slide from off Dee. As I slowly get out the bed I grab my phone,heading into the bathroom. I turn on the shower and turn my Bluetooth on,connecting it to my speaker as I hit shuffle on my playlist. As the music starts I start to strip out my clothes and step inside the shower. I finish scrubbing my body clean and get out,wrapping my towel around my body as I hum along to the music. I dry off and get dressed for the day. I decide on something simple since I don't really plan on going anywhere.

As I finish up and brush my teeth Dee walks in the bathroom. "Get out your feelings lil girl." I turn my attention on him. "Nigga shut up." I gather up all my belongings and walk out the bathroom. My phone starts ringing.

I put my dirty clothes and towels away and answer the phone.

We stay on the phone for a few minutes before I hang up. Dee says to me. "Nope because you always with her." I say. "I didn't even say nothing."He says. "Rylan I know you." I roll my eyes as he moves closer to me. "Bae my mom wants to come and visit you." I smile widely. "Really?" He says sarcastically. "She said I'm coming to visit my daughter in law soon." I look at him. "Don't get mad because your mom loves me." He says. "Nah for real tho I'm glad you and my mom getting along." I say. "Yeah me too bae." Someone starts knocking on the door loudly and Dee walks out the room. I hear him yelling at someone and I get up and slightly tip toe out the room. I stand at the top of the staircase and try to listen. As the door slams shut I run back in the room and jump in the bed. Dee walks in the room with an unreadable expression on his face. I start to say something,but I decide against it. We sit in silence for awhile until Dee speaks up. He looks at me. "Bae something came up and I need to go back home for a minute." I ask. "How long?" He shrugs. "Maybe for a couple of days I'm not sure yet." I say. "When you leaving?" He says. "Tomorrow evening." I pout as he pulls me closer to him. "Bae I'm not going to be gone that long,but I promise we'll talk everyday." He kisses me multiple times on the lips. I smile during the kisses and he stops and pulls away. He asks. "You want cuddles don't you?" I say. "See I would,but Savanna coming over." He smacks my butt. "She always coming over." I say. "And your homeboy do too." I walk out the room,going downstairs and I get startled by a loud noise. Dee comes running down the stairs. "Bae you straight?" I hold my chest as I begin to answer him. "Yes bae." Savanna comes busting through the door with Dee's homeboy following behind her. Dee says. "What was that?" Savanna says. "The girl next door busted the windows out her nigga car." I shake my head. Anthony says. "I didn't introduce myself last time,but I'm Anthony." He grabs my hand and shakes it softly. I smile. "I'm Rylan." Savanna pulls me to the side and whispers. "He wanted to come for some reason." I say. "Girl it's okay." Dee asks. "Savanna y'all together or something?" She shrugs her shoulders. "Idk ask him." I try to walk pass Dee,but he grabs me by the waist,pulling me back towards him. "Bae." I turn towards him as he says. "I'm going to miss you." I pout as I say. "I'm going to miss you too." We chill with Savanna and Anthony for awhile until I start to fall asleep. I wake up the next morning in my bed and I see Dee isn't there. I walk in the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face. As I'm finishing up I hear my name being called. I walk out the bathroom and make my way downstairs. Dee asks. "Bae you suppose to be going somewhere today?" I look at him confused. "Not that I know of,but why?" He says. "Because I wanted to spend time with you before I leave later." I start to get a little sad. "Yea I forgot about that." He says. "C'mere big head." I slowly walk towards him as he pulls me in for a hug. "I'll be back before you know it." I look up at him with teary eyes. "You promise?" He slightly chuckles. "Yea bae." We spend time together until it's time for him to leave. We kiss each other passionately and he leaves out the door. I start cleaning up the house and someone interrupts me by knocking. I finish up what I'm doing and open the door. Savanna barges in with a sad expression on her face. I ask. "You miss him already don't you?" She nods her head yes in response to me. An hour later Savanna starts cooking in the kitchen and I get a text from a number I thought I blocked.

I decide to block his number and delete it out my phone. Me and Savanna eat and hang out for a few hours. "I'm staying with you for a few days." She says to me as she starts cleaning the kitchen. We chill for a few hours and decide to catch up with one another. My phone starts ringing loudly as I jog out the kitchen and over to my phone,picking it up. My face lights up as I answer it.

I walk upstairs in my room and get ready for bed. I pin my hair up and get comfortable in the bed as I put my phone on the charger and Savanna comes running through the door. "I feel bad for her." I ask. "Who?" She sits down on the bed. "The girl next door." I say. "We shouldn't get in her business." She says. "I just want to make sure she's ok." I sigh. "Ok we'll check on her tomorrow it's late now." She gets up and walks out the room and I hear Dee talking to somebody. I shake my head and lay my head on my pillow and drift off to the sleep. I start to wake up due to loud noises coming from outside. I look down at my phone and smile.

I get up and walk in the bathroom and turn on the shower. I get in the shower and begin to scrub my body clean. I hear a knock on the door and I yell. "I'll be out in a minute Savanna." I finish showering and step out,grabbing my towel and wrapping it around my body. I walk out the bathroom and into my closet. I dry off quickly and pick out a black tank top and some jeans with a light blue Jean jacket. I walk back in the bathroom and do my hair. As I'm finishing up Savanna comes in the room. "You said we're going to go next door." I say. "Girl she don't want us in her business." I grab my phone and house keys and she drags me off downstairs. I roll my eyes and reluctantly follow her. We end up next door as Savanna balls her fists up ready to knock,but the door quickly swings open. A semi tall dude mean mugs us. "What tf do y'all want?" I say. "First of all nigga who tf you talking to like that because I'll beat yo ass." Savanna laughs. "Girl fuck him." I push him out the way as We make our way into the house. I see a girl sitting on the couch with puffy and teary eyes. I start to feel bad for her as I sit down next to her. "Hi I'm Rylan." She wipes her tears and says. "I'm Samantha." She asks. "Can I ask why ya'll came over?" Savanna clears her throat. "We just wanted to check on you,but we'll leave." I get up off the couch,But she quickly grabs my wrist. "No stay." She let's go of my wrist and I sit back down. She tells me."I know he's cheating,but I don't know how to leave him." Savanna says. "You'll leave when you ready." She nods her head. "Thank you guys for coming over." I say. "No problem." Savana says. "We should exchange numbers." We all exchange numbers and that's when I noticed that Dee wasn't on the phone anymore. We hang out for awhile until it starts getting late. Before me and Savanna leave we make plans to hang out with Samantha tomorrow evening. I get a text from Dee and I unlock my phone to reply back to him.

Me: That's okay bae
I put my phone in the back pocket of my jeans as we make our way back next door.I get my keys to unlock the door and we walk inside. Savanna says. "See she needed us." I say. "Yeah I guess you right." Before I could sit down I hear a loud knock on the front door. I reluctantly go to the door and open it. Lucas looks at me. "Hey Rylan." I cross my arms and rolls my eyes. "What are you doing here Lucas?" He says. "I needed to see you." I get aggravated and yell out. "LEAVE!" I slam the door in his face and lock it. Savanna runs out the kitchen and asks. "Who was that?" I say. "Lucas." She says. "What he wanted?" I shrug my shoulders. "Idk." I make my way upstairs in my room and change into something comfortable for bed. I put my phone on the charger and find something to watch on tv,before I doze off to sleep.
2-3 weeks later
I get woken up out my sleep by being pulled out the bed by my ankles. I sit up quickly and glare at Dee. "Move ugly." He let's my ankles go and sits next to me. "What you do while I was gone big head?" I say sarcastically. "You would know if you ever answered the phone." He wraps me in his arms. "Bae I'm sorry,but I got busy." I say. "You promised me that we would talk everyday." He says. "Yea,but bae some things came up." I roll my eyes. "Things like what?" He opens his mouth to speak,but Savanna comes running in the room. "Rylan did you forget?" I look at her confused for a second. She says. "We hanging out with Samantha today." I say. "Oh I forgot." Dee says to Savanna. "She'll be down in an hour or 2." She leaves out the room and I look at him. He says. "You not leaving here mad at me,so you might as well forgive me." I roll my eyes. "What was so important that you couldn't answer the phone or call me,so we could talk for a few minutes Dee?" He says. "Nothing's more important than you bae,but I had to help my cousins with they business and it slipped my mind." I fold my arms and think whether I should forgive him or not. He smacks his lips as I take my time and make him wait for a few minutes. I finally decide to forgive him and kiss him on the cheek. He grabs me slightly and pulls me closer to him. He kisses me passionately on the lips. I get up and grab my things as I head out the room. Savanna says. "It's about time." We walk outside and see Samantha sitting on her porch. She stands up and runs over to us. "I finally left his ass." I say. "Girl you did?" She says. "I couldn't do it anymore." Savanna sighs. "It'll get better." We all get in Samantha's car as she drives off. Samantha glances over at me. "How are you and your boo?" I say. "We good." She says. "At least one of us got a healthy relationship." We pull up to a house and she says. "we're only going to be here for a minute." We all get out and she knocks on the door. A girl comes to the door and let's us in. We all walk in and sit down. We chill with her cousin for awhile and I get a text from Dee. I decide to text him back.

Me: I'm at Samantha's cousin house
Bae🤦🏽‍♀️🥺🤤: Ok bae but what time you coming home
Me: idk bae
Bae🤦🏽‍♀️🥺🤤:  don't stay out too late and I love you
Me: I won't and I love you too
We chill at her cousin house for a few more hours and decide to leave. Samantha asks. "Do you have anywhere to go?" I shake my head No as I stare out the window. Savanna says. "Did you tell Dee about Lucas popping up on you?" I say. "No I didn't." She says. "I think you should." I sigh. "Yea you right."  I get my phone and decide to text him.
Me: bae I got something to tell you
Bae🤦🏽‍♀️🥺🤤: okay bae what is it
Me: while you was out of town my ex came to see me
Bae🤦🏽‍♀️🥺🤤: and you just now telling me
Me: I'm sorry I forgot
Bae🤦🏽‍♀️🥺🤤: aight bro
I lock my phone up and stare out the window as Samantha drives home I'm guessing. I start to doze off until Savanna slightly shakes me. I wake up fully and grab my things,making my way out the car and next door to my house. As I reach for the door to unlock it someone swings it open. Dee stands on the other side and brushes past me. I roll my eyes and walk in the house. As I'm making my way up the stairs Savanna stops me halfway. She says. "So he really mad huh?" I shrug my shoulders. "I guess so." She says. "He'll come around." I walk in my room and decide to get in the bed early.
Lucas's Pov
Me and Amber been doing ok. I'm just really starting to miss Rylan. King says. "Wsp bro." I sigh. "I'm starting to really miss Rylan." He shakes his head. "You messed that up for yourself." I say. "Yeah I know." King says. "You cheated on her and had a baby on her." Amber storms in the room. "Why you still talking about her?" King buds in. "Cause that's my best friend and I miss her." She says. "Do you miss her Lucas?" I sigh. "I'm not answering that." She starts yelling. "I'm tired of you comparing me to her." I say. "How tf I'm comparing you to her?" She starts crying historically. "I can't do this anymore." She walks in the closet and starts packing her shit I assume. I get my phone and decide to text Rylan.
Rylan💕: Rylan this Lucas call me
King asks. "You not going to stop her?" I nod my head. "Nah she'll be back." Talia comes bursting in the room. "Why she leaving?" King says. "Cause Lucas kept comparing her to Rylan." She shakes her head. "I'll help you girl." I shake my head as I ask King. "What should I do about Rylan?" He shrugs. "Go talk to her." Amber finishes getting all her and the baby things and leaves. I walk outside and get in my car and drive to Rylan's house. I contemplate on what I'm going to say to her before I pull up at her house. I park the car,getting out and jogging up to the front door. I knock loudly and Rylan stands in the doorway looking irritated. I softly smile. "Hey Rylan." She crosses her arms and rolls her eyes. "What are you doing here Lucas?" I say to her. "I needed to see you." She yells aggressively. "LEAVE!" She slams the door in my face. I stand there shocked for a minute. I walk back to my car,getting inside and driving off. I drive around to clear my head before going back home. I finally decide to drive home. As I'm pulling up I see King sitting outside. I get out and walk up to him. He stands up. "How'd it go?" I say. "She hates me." He says. "You had a baby on her." I walk in the house and text Amber about my daughter.
Me: what my daughter doing?
Bm❤️: she with my mom
Me: bring her to me later on
Bm❤️: you can come and see her tomorrow when she get back
Me: just bring her to me tomorrow and she staying with me tomorrow night
Bm❤️:  you can see her tomorrow but she can't spend the night
Me: bro that's my daughter too
I get irritated and put my phone on dnd and decide to fall asleep early.
2-3 weeks later
I wake up with a huge headache and King runs in the room. "Aye bro Amber outside." I get up and walk downstairs and see Amber walking through the door with my baby and some bags. I grab my baby from her. "So you back?" She nods her  head. "Yea." She says. "I missed you." I say. "I missed you too."  She asks. "Do you still miss her?" I decide not to respond to her. She sighs. "I'm guessing you do." I get aggravated. "If you don't want your feelings hurt then just drop it." She storms off and I pick my daughter up and play with her for awhile.
