Rylan's Pov
I wake up the next morning super early and get up and do my hygiene stuff to get ready for today.As I finish up Savanna comes bursting through the door. "Girl,where Dee?" I shrug my shoulders. "I haven't heard from him." She walks over to me and rubs my back. "It'll be ok." I sigh and walk out the bathroom. Savanna follows behind me as I make my way out the room and downstairs. Someone knocks on the door and I slowly make my way towards it to open it. One of Dee sisters stands on the other side. I let her in as I ask. "Does Dee know you're here?" She says. "He dropped me off." Savanna asks. "Did he say he was coming back?" She nods her head. "Yeah he is." I walk off and sit on the couch and scroll through my phone. His sister comes and sits next to me. "He'll come around." I sigh. "I hope so." Someone bursts through the door and I look up and see Dee. He walks towards me with his hand out. "Can we talk?" I get up and grab his hand as we make our way upstairs to my room. We walk inside and he closes the door. He stares at me for a few seconds before saying anything. He says. "Bae I'm sorry I kinda overreacted." I fold my arms and stare at him before saying anything. "Where you been all night?" He says. "Bae I got a room." I roll my eyes and say. "So you couldn't text or call me to let me know." He sighs. "I was mad at the moment and wasn't thinking Stink." I reluctantly decide to forgive him and we make up. He wraps his arms around me tightly. "I missed you and my mom kept getting on me for being mad at you." I say. "Aww she loves me,but why you didn't tell me your sister was coming." He says. "I didn't know until the last minute." Someone beats on the front door downstairs and I look at him. "Are you expecting someone?" He shakes his head and we both get up and walk out the room and downstairs. He goes to the door and opens it. I open my mouth to say something but before I could his mom pushes pass him and makes her way to me. I softly smile as she hugs me tightly. "Hi baby." I say. "Hi mother-n-law." She let's me go and looks at me. "How you been?" I smile. "I've been good." She asks. "Did he apologize to you?" I say. "Yes ma'am." She says. "Good." As she starts to look around. "Nice place daughter." I softly smile. "Thanks." Dee asks. "What you doing here mom?" She turns her attention towards him. "I came to visit my daughter." Someone knocks on the door and I look at Dee. He shrugs as he opens the door. My mom looks at me. "Are you going to let me in?" I walk over to the door and slam it in her face. I run upstairs as I try to hold my tears back. Savanna burst through the door. "You okay?" I shrug. "Why she want to pop back up now?" Before she could say anything Dee walks through the door. "Bae you straight?" I say. "Yeah." He asks. "Who was that?" I say. "My mom." He sits next to me. "Why you never talk about her?" I sigh. "It's a long story." He softly rubs my back. "We don't have to talk about it right now." I lay my head on his shoulder and sigh.
         Dee's Pov
I watch movies for a few hours until it's almost time for my sister to get off work. I grab my keys and walk outside to get in my car. I drive to the hotel where my sister works to wait until she gets off. I pull up and park,getting out and walking inside. I sit in the lobby and get on my phone. My phone dies and I get up to walk outside,but a cute short girl bumps into me. I look at her and say. "You good ma." She looks at me without saying anything. I ask. "You okay?" Her friend says.
"She a little drunk." I say. "I'll take her to her room." I hold her up and we walk to the elevator. I help her get on and her friend says. "Thank you." I say. "No problem."  Her other friend presses their floor number and we get off. We walk to her room I'm guessing and one girl opens the door. We walk inside the room and I lay her on the bed. I walk out the room and stop one of her friends and introduce myself. She says. "I'm Savanna and I'm going to give you her number." I say. "My phone dead rn." She walks off and comes back with a piece of paper and a pen. She writes her number on it and hands it to me. Before I walk off I ask. "What's her name?" She says. "Rylan." I walk off and go back to the lobby. My sister walks towards me and smiles. "Who was that?" I say. "Nobody." As we walk out the hotel and make our way to my car. She mumbles. "Not yet." I drop her off at home and make my way to my house. As I make my way inside my house I go upstairs and get in the bed. I put my phone the charger and fall asleep. I wake up the next morning and decide to text Rylan.

I get up and do my hygiene stuff and get dressed for today. I make my way to the car and drive back to the hotel. As I park the car I check my surroundings. I get out and make my way inside,getting on the elevator and going to Rylan's floor. As the elevator comes to a stop and opens I step out and spot Rylan as I begin to approach her. I smile and say. "Wassup ma you ready?" She says. "Yeah." I grab her hand and we walk to the elevator and get inside. I pull her closer to me. "Come here, why you all the way over there?"  She rolls her eyes and moves closer to me. "You should know I'm kinda going through a heartbreak rn." I decide to pull her in for a hug. "That nigga dumb." The elevator stops and we get off. we walk to my car and I glance over at Rylan. I open the door for her and wait until she gets inside. I close her door and make my way over to the drive's side and get in. I drive off and glance over at her. "You good ma?" She doesn't say anything as I pull up at IHOP. We get out and I make my way over towards her and grab her hand and walk inside. We wait to be seated and I say to her. "You been checking your phone a lot." She looks at me wit a little irritation in her eyes. "I'm sorry 😐 he just won't stop texting me." I stop and stand in front of her and say. "Let me see your phone?" She hesitates at first but hands me her phone. I turn it off as our waiter comes up to us and leads us to our table. We sit down and I say. "Just keep it off for a few hours." We order our food and we talk for awhile and get to know each other. Our food comes and we eat. We finish up and we leave. We get back in my car and I look at her. "We going somewhere  else." She turns to me and glares at me. "See now you didn't tell me all that." I laugh. "Girl you'll be alright." She smacks her lips. I drive off. "Girl stop that." She asks. "Where we going?" I turn on the radio. "Not telling you." I see her rolling her eyes out the corner of my eyes. "Keep on." I say to her as We pull up at my homeboys house as Rylan states. "Boy I'm not getting out." I softly grab her arm. "Lil girl you getting out." She snatches away from me and reluctantly get out the car. I walk up to her and say. "Don't worry I'm not letting you out my site." We walk up to the door and I grab her hand as we walk inside. She looks around and my boy Ace walks downstairs. We dab each other up. "Wassup bruh?" Ace looks at Rylan while licking his lips. "Wassup sexy?" She makes a smart remark. "Don't be licking your lips at me nigga." I say. "Aye bruh chill with all that." We walk further in the house as She moves closer to me and I let her. Sensing that she's uncomfortable I reassure her. "You good ma don't worry I got you." We walk in the living room and I take a seat on the couch and pull her in my lap. The rest of my homeboys walk in the living room and sit down. We stay for awhile and get up and leave. She looks out the window as I drive back to the hotel. We pull up and she get out and walk inside. I drive home and smile to myself as I think about Rylan.
Three weeks later
I wake up the next morning ecstatic as my sister comes bursting through my door. She asks. "Who got you all happy?" I turn my attention towards her. "My future girlfriend." She says. "I knew you was gone start liking her." I say. "Yeah." Me and my sister chill for the rest of the night and I decide to text Rylan.

I watch movies for awhile and doze off to sleep until my phone vibrates,letting me know I got a message.

I smile and fall asleep. I get woken up out my sleep by my sister. I sit up and get my phone and decide to text Rylan.

Rylan😍♥️: yeah

Me: that's it I'm coming there now and I'm staying

Ace burst through my bedroom and we dab each other up. He asks. "You and ole girl still talk?" I say. "Yeah Nigga." I get my phone and decide to call Rylan.

I get up and pack my bags for my trip and my mom comes in the room. She asks. "So,you really moving?" I say. "Yeah is it a good thing?" She looks at me. "If she's right for you son you'll know it." I sigh. "I hope I'm making the right decision." She says. "I want to meet her." I finish packing my things as I say to her. "You will." I chill for the rest of the day and go to sleep early. I wake up the next morning and do my hygiene stuff. I pack my car up and get my sister to drive me to the airport. She says. "Go and get your girl,but don't fuck it up." We arrive at the airport and I check in and get my bags checked. I get on the plane and decide to text Rylan before we take off.

I get off my phone and look out the window to see the view. I sigh as I start to think about Rylan. We finally land and I get an Uber and put Rylan's address in. I arrive at her house and get my things out. Savanna opens the door for me and says. "She's sleep,but I'll show you where her room is." I get all my bags and follow her in the house and upstairs. We walk in a room and I see Rylan sleeping. I but my bags up quietly and get in the bed slowly,trying not to wake Rylan up. I wrap my arms around her and drift off to sleep.
I feel Rylan moving the next morning so I wake up and look at her. "What?" She looks at me. "When did you get here and how?"I say. "Yo best friend." She looks at me. "Hmm." She tries to get up,but I pull her back down. "Where you trying to go?" She says."To mind my business nah I'm jp,but fr I'm going to the bathroom." I let her go and she gets up and walks to the bathroom. She stays in there for awhile,so I get up and walk downstairs. I see a dude sitting on the couch,so I decide to introduce myself. "I'm Dee." He dabs me up. "I'm Cameron Rylan's brother." We chat for awhile and I walk back upstairs and back in Rylan's room. She walks out the bathroom and looks at me. "What you doing here?" I say . "I told you already." She slightly chuckles. "I'm fine." I wrap my arms around her waist and look her in the eyes. "Are you really?" She sighs and gives in. "Not really,but I'm trying to be." I say. "You don't need him and we can just be friends until you ready." She nods her head as her phone vibrates. I let her go and walk in the bathroom and do my hygiene stuff. I finish up and make my way downstairs and see Rylan sitting on the couch. "What y'all doing today?" I ask as I sit down next to her. She shrugs. "Idk you got to ask her." I ask. "One of my homeboys in town and I was wondering can he slide thru."She says. "Nigga do he steal because I don't know him for him to be coming to my house." I laugh. "No girl he don't." Savanna comes rushing through the door. "Awe look at y'all." Rylan gets up and grabs her keys as they walk out the door. I decide to tell Ace to come thru. As I wait on him I decide to watch a little tv and I feel my phone vibrate.

I put my phone away and chill with Ace for awhile until I fall asleep. I feel someone nudging me and hear someone whining. I sit up irritated. Rylan pouts as I get up and drag her upstairs. We walk in her room and I make myself comfortable in the bed. I mean mug her. "Why you wake me up?" She walks in the closet and change into some shorts and a tank top I'm guessing. She fold her arms and stand in the doorway. "Because you promised me cuddles." I open my arms. "C'mere."  She walks over to the bed and lays on my chest as I wrap my arms around her.
4 months later
Rylan finally gave me a chance after 4 months but I can honestly say I've never been happier. I wake up earlier than usual to get my day started. I walk in the bathroom and do my hygiene stuff. I finish up and make my way downstairs and into the kitchen. I begin cooking breakfast and I see my phone light up on the kitchen counter.

I put my phone down as I finish up cooking and I feel a pair of hands wrap around me and she lays her head against my back. "Trying to sneak up on me ma." I nonchalantly say. Oou so you cook too huh." She snuggles up into my back. She let's me go and I fix us both a plate. I sit our plates down and decide to fix us some orange juice. As I'm making my way back to the table She sighs. "My brother wants me to come and see him today." As I sit down in front of her and ask."Are you ready to see him?" As she begins eating. She says. "I can't keep avoiding him." I grab her hand. "If it's too soon then tell him you need more time bae." I rub my thumb across the back of her hand. She says. "But bae I've been avoiding him for 3 months." I say. "Just invite him over so,I can be here for you." She nods her head as we finish our  breakfast. She asks. "What's with your homeboy and Savanna?" I shrug. "He don't tell me shit,but did you tell him to come thru." She hesitates for a second and grabs her phone. I look at her. " I'm going to be right here with you." I get up and grab our  plates and put them in the sink. "Bae can we do something later because I'm tired of being in the house." I walk up behind her and wrap my arms around her. "Yea bae we can do whatever you want." I plant soft kisses on her neck. She softly smiles. "You promise?" I hug her tightly. "Bae I promise." She smiles wildly. "Bae let me get on your back?" "Girl no you can walk." I mean mug her as She folds her arms and pouts. "Please." I let her go and walk off. "Rylan bring yo ass on." "Ugh." I hear her stomping up behind me. We walk in the bedroom and get in the bed. She lays down with her back facing me and fall asleep. We both wake up the next morning to loud knocking on the door. She groans and tries to get up to,but I decide to pull her back down. "Bae just let them knock." "Bae I can't." She says as she tries to get out of my grip as they begin to knock louder. I let her go and get up,walking out the room. I make my way downstairs and open the front door. I see Cameron with a little girl,so I let them in and lock the door behind them. I yell Rylan's name and wait for her to come down. She yells. "Bae what is it?" She asks. She comes downstairs and see her brother with a little girl He says."Hey lil sis how you been?" She sighs. "It's been 3 months so,why you reaching out now?" He says. "I was giving you,your space." She says to him. "Your my brother and I needed you,but you wasn't there." She storms off and he looks at me. "Can you talk to her for me?" I sigh. "I can't." They leave and I lock the door behind them,making my way upstairs. I swing the door open. "I know you're upset,but don't slam the damn door girl." She rolls her eyes. "I'm sorry bae,but like you said I'm upset." I pull her out the bed by her hands and hug her tightly as I kiss her on the forehead multiple times. "I got you." She lays her head against me. "I was giving up on love until I met you." I look down at her. She looks up at me. "I'm glad you met me then." I kiss her multiple times on the lips softly. "Bae do you want to fly back to Miami with me to meet my family?"She asks nervously. "When?" I say to her. "In 2 weeks." "Bae I'm going to be nervous you know I don't like meeting new people." She says.
I wrap my arms around her tightly as I kiss her on the cheek. "I promise they're going to love you." I let her go and I get my phone and text my mom as I walk out the room.

2 weeks later
It's finally time to leave for Miami and I can tell Rylan still nervous. We board the plane and She snuggles up into my arm. I glance over at her. "Bae yo ass been nervous for 2 weeks." She pouts. "So I want them to like me." I sigh. "I told you they will." I watch her fall asleep as the plane takes off. I smile to myself as I think I could get use to this. We land a few hours later and I wake her up. We get off the plane and go to baggage claim and get our luggage. We walk outside the airport and I grab her arm. "Come on bae." I put our suitcases in the trunk and we get in the car.
I look over at her. "You hungry?" She nods her head yes as I begin to drive to my parent's house. A few minutes later we pull up to the house. We get out with our suitcases and walk up to the door. As we walk inside we get greeted by a lot of my people. I say. "Look everybody gone get a chance to talk to her." I pull her to the side and we make our way to the kitchen. My mom says. "It's about time you brought a girl home to meet me and she's beautiful too." Rylan softly smiles. "Thanks." She asks. "How'd you get her to date you?" Rylan laughs as I smack my lips. "Because she was feeling a nigga." She softly pushes me as my mom says. "I'm glad you finally left here." I look at her. "Nothing's here for me anymore besides family." She says to Rylan. "I'm going to give you my number and if he give you any trouble you can call me." I nudge her. "I told you there's nothing to be nervous about bae." My mom looks at Rylan. "You was nervous?" Rylan nods her head. "I thought you guys weren't going to like me." She says to Rylan. "You're a nice young lady and you make my son happy so, I do like you." I look at Rylan as I ask. "You want to stay here or go to a hotel?" Before she could answer my mom says. "That's nonsense you both are staying here." My little sister walks in the kitchen. "Oou brother she's pretty." Rylan softly smiles. "Thanks." She grabs Rylan's hand and drags her off. I look at my mom. "You sure you okay with us staying here?" She says. "Of course I am." I say. "Thanks mom ,but who's coming to dinner?" She shrugs. "Son idk,but how'd you two meet?" I sit at the bar. "At Kay-Kay's job." She responds by saying. "Does she make you happy?" I say enthusiastically. "Yes she does." She looks at me as she finishes cooking. "That's good,but go and get her before your sisters talk her head off." I get up and walk out the kitchen to look for Rylan. I finally find her and walk up to her. "Where yo ass been?" "Boy you know I was with your sisters and cousins." She walks off,going into the kitchen. Everyone sits at the table and starts to eat. I watch Rylan and my siblings talk and bond as I smile to myself. I notice my ex mugging Rylan so I decide to say something.
"Is there a problem Lexi because you mean mugging my girl." Kay-Kay says. "Lexi you had your chance with him and you ruined it so back off." Rylan excuses herself from the table and Lexi says to me. "I miss us Dee." My mom chimes in and says. "He's happy now and I like my daughter-n-law." Kay-Kay nudges me. "Go and check on Ry." I get up and walk outside and see her leaning on the rail of the front porch. I walk over to her and wrap my arms around her waist.
"Bae I promise I didn't know she was going to be here." She turns around to face me. "So you don't talk to her?" "Nah bae you the only one I want." I pull her closer to me as I kiss her on the cheek. I grab her hand and lead her back in the house. We walk back in the kitchen and sit at the table. My mom asks. "You okay sweet heart?" Rylan slightly smiles. "Yes ma'am." Everyone finishes eating and Rylan decides to help my mother clean the kitchen. Lexi comes up to me and hands me a piece of paper with a number on it. I rip the paper up and throw it away. "Look I'm in a happy relationship." Kay-Kay buds in. "Lexi just leave idk why you still come around." She leaves and Kay-Kay looks at me. "I'm happy for you Ry seems like a great person." I smile. "She is." I walk back in the kitchen as I overhear my mom and Rylan talking. "Don't be giving her no ideas,but you ready to go to bed."
I grab her by the waist and pull her out the kitchen,going upstairs. We walk in my old room and get settled in. Rylan sits on the bed and looks at me. "Maybe I was being nervous for no reason." I say. "No shit bae I told you." She playfully roll her eyes as I sit next to her and place my hand on her thigh. She asks. "Do you miss it?" I look her in the eyes. "Maybe the first 2 months I did,but you're way more important to me."
We spend the next few weeks in Miami until it's time for us to leave.
As we board the plane Lexi stops us. "Dee I'm sorry about the way I treated you,but I want you back." I pull Rylan closer to me. "What makes you think I'll ever leave my baby." We get on the plane and find our seats. She snuggles up in my arms. "You love being under me don't you." I look down at her. She slightly smiles. "Maybe." The plane takes off as we watch a movie together. The plane finally lands and we get out the plane and make our way to baggage claim. We get our suitcases and make our way out the airport and to my car. I load the suitcases in the trunk and get in the car. "Bae I'm tired." She says. "I'll drive bae." I shake my head. "We not far from the house." I back out of the airport parking space and drives off. I rub her thigh. "You hungry lil girl?" She shakes her head. "No bae." I drive for a little while longer and pull up in the driveway. We get out the car as I get our suitcases as she unlocks the door. I walk inside and carry the suitcases upstairs. I walk in the room and hear the shower running,so I decide to knock on the door. She comes to the door and opens it slightly.
I say. "Hurry up bae so we can cuddle." She closes the door back and I get my clothes out for the shower. Rylan walks in the room and I walk in the bathroom and turn on the shower. I do my hygiene stuff and get out 15 minutes later and get dressed. I jump in the bed and Rylan crawls over to me and lay her head on my chest. I cover us up with the blanket as we fall asleep.
