John Nedwill is not a real person. He is a made-up character for the novel of life. He hasn't quite finished being written yet, but there are some things about him that have been decided.

He was born in Ireland and moved to England in search of an education and a family. After a number of years writing articles and adventures for gaming magazines, he decided to make the move into full-blown fiction. Currently he writes short stories, and is most definitely not working on a novel. One day he may even decide what genre he is going to write.

If he's not writing, he's reading; and if he's not reading, he is trying to work out how to play highly complex boardgames. As he prefers to meet people in real life, he doesn't keep any social media accounts. He reckons he notices more things that way, and has more time to write them down in the myriad of black notebooks that accompany him wherever he goes.

Don't ask him what he does for a living. He's not going to tell you.
