SIX
Isn't it crazy, that you won't experience this moment in your life, ever again.

"Ready?" Louise looked up as Peter walked into the room. She shook her head at once.
"I haven't been to school for ages." She answered with a sigh.
"You'll be fine." He told her encouragingly, but she just shook her head again.
"But I don't know what to do! Or how to maths or-" she stopped as Peter cut her off.
"Just calm down. You'll be fine, just stick with me, okay?" He asked her, she nodded.
"Okay." She still looked nervous, so he patted her back and led her out of the door.
"Just don't forget that you're Mr Stark's niece." He added. She sighed.
"Ew." He laughed at her statement. She knew the truth couldn't get out, but pretending to be Stark's niece? He really was not good at blending in.
"Come on, school's not that bad." He told her.
"You go to a school for smart people though, I went to a school for troubled kids." She pointed out.
"You're smart, you can handle it." He told her. She looked at him sceptically.
"I mean... It's nice of you to think that." She told him.
"I mean, I know you haven't known me that long, but trust me, you'll be fine." Peter announced. She internally sighed, he was so nice to her.
"Again, I love your enthusiasm, but can we not just skip school?" Louise asked anxiously. Peter shook his head.
"No, I don't think that's a good idea." He said. "Mr Stark will know, and he said to blend in and act normal."
"Fine, let's go." She sighed and picked up her bag, following him out of the room.
Upon reaching the school, Louise met Peter's friend Ned, who stared at her for a whole ten minutes before speaking.
"Is he okay?" She asked Peter, who waved his hand in front of his friend's face.
"Wow." Ned said. "You're who Peter works with now?"
"Apparently." She nodded.
"Wow." Ned repeated. She laughed at him and then frowned.
"Can we go in? I want to get this over with." She sighed.
"Come on, I'll show you round." Peter nodded, the three went inside and Peter gave a quick tour before class. The school was bigger than she had anticipated, and the amount of people who were staring at her freaked her out.
^^^^^
Louise had been forced to stand at the front of each and every class she had had that day to introduce herself and she was done with this.
"Can we go now?" She asked him anxiously, as what she hoped was the last class was over.
"Yeah, yeah we can go." He told her, shooting her a smile, she returned it, glad to get out of the school. she wasn't up to the standard of the other kids, she had no idea what was going on in any of her classes and it made her mad. She hated being treated like an idiot, which was exactly how all her teachers treated her.
"I am not going back in there." Louise said as they began their journey back to Peter's home.
"It wasn't that bad."Peter said, trying to sound supportive. He had been her rock all day and she was thankful.
"Yeah, it was worse." She shot back with a roll of her eyes. She hated school, crime-fighting she could do, sit in a math class with a group of people who were in another league when it came to academics, was not something she could do.
"How?" He asked, still trying to sound supportive.
"I'm not smart enough for this school! I just, please don't make me go back!" She told him.
"Do you want me to help you?" He offered, she stared at him, no one had offered to help her before.
"I- Yeah, please." She nodded gladly.
"Sure, we can start later." He nodded, she smiled at him.
"Thank you." she said to him. he smiled back.
When they got back to the flat, Peter made them both a cup of hot chocolate and they sat down together to do the homework they had been set.
"So what is a circle theorem?" Louise asked as she opened her maths book.
"All you need to know is that the radius is always 90 degrees to the tangent." Peter said, she stared at him as though he'd begun speaking another language.
"What?" She asked finally.
"If you were in the centre of a circle and you shot in any direction at a building, that building would be ninety degrees to the line the bullet went down." Peter explained.
"Why didn't you say that earlier?" She asked him, he looked at her in surprise.
"You understood that?" He asked, she nodded.
"Of course i understood that."
"How?" He was gobsmacked.
"You explained it better that time."
"You have the mind of a soldier." Peter sighed.
"Going to the shooting range was the only thing my mother and I ever did together." She shrugged.
"Seriously?" He asked, she shrugged.
"She likes shooting things."
