---- 4 Hours Later ----  Prarthana P.O.V

Ahhhhhhh.... that was a nice 3 hour nap, I think to myself while stretching. Gray is going to be here in about an hour so I better take a shower. I click shuffle on my Spotify playlist and get into the shower. About 20 minutes later I walk into my room and get dressed. I didn’t know what Grayson and I were doing anyway so I just put on a baseball tee, my black tights and some socks and walked out my room. Then I do my usual routine - dry my hair, brush it out, and make a cute waterfall braid with some beach curls at the end of my hair. I walk into the living room and see Grayson sitting on the couch.

"Hey! I’m so sorry. I didn’t know you were out here. Did Tridha let you in?" I ask him

"Don’t worry about it. I’ve  been waiting for just about 5 minutes. Tridha let me in, while she was on her way out for grocery shopping. She said she would text you." He said standing up to come and stand right in front of me.

"Oh. Well, I didn’t reallly check my phone." I say laughing

"That’s totally fine. But do you wanna hang outside today?? Just you know, look around." He says looking a bit nervous

"I would love to. Is Ethan coming too?" I ask. As soon as I say that, something in Gray’s  eyes changes.

"No he isn’t. He is out with Matt today." He says giving me a fake smile.

"So where do you wanna go first?" I ask changing the subject

"How about a walk on the beach?"He asks giving me a real smile this time.

"That sounds great." I say as we head out to Grayson’s car.

We blasted our favourite music and jammed  thru out our whole car ride. Couldn’t have asked for a better car ride. SO LIT! We finally got out the car laughing so hard because a fly was bugging me and I couldn’t help screaming cuz I freaking hate flies.

"That was the best car ride ever!" I practically yell

"I know right!" Grayson yells back laughing

"WHY THE HECK ARE WE YELLING?" I ask laughing so hard

"I DON’T FREAKING.. AHHHHHHH!" Grayson yells running.. because of a bee

omg I can’t I sit down and laugh my ass off, tears rolling down my cheek and then finally getting up to help Grayson.

"Gee thanks Prarthana. Thx for the help." He says

I start laughing yet again and then say. "What are friends for ehh? and run of to put my feet in the water.

Grayson stands next to me and says "I’m having a lot of fun Prarthana." I blush

"Well it’s gonna get way better." I say and push him into the water.

"Oh no you didn’t he says." getting out the water drenched to hug me.

"Oh Shit!" I yell and try to escape when he hugs me from the back and pulls me into the water with him. Once we are out the water he looks at me for a few seconds and says...

"What are friends for ehh?" He mimics me and I give him a smack on his arm.
