''Whyare you here?'' He asks. ''Oh you know,everyone thinks I'm insane and I got kicked out of school. Why are you here?''I ask. ''Same reason as you.'' He says, as if it were obvious. ''How old areyou?'' I say with curiosity. He looks about 14 or 15. ''13, you?'' He says.''13.'' I say. All of the sudden a voicestarts speaking from the speakers above us. ''10:00, lights out in 5, 4,3,2,1.''All the lights went out except the tiny one above the bed. ''They seriously dothat every night?'' I say. ''Yep, better get used to it.'' He goes and sits onthe bed. ''Here come sit, I need to talk to you, but we have to be quite aboutit. I walk over to the bed and sit down. ''You see random things happen down here. Andyou know what's scary? There's no one else down here on the last level besidesus. I am the only one who has seen thesethings happen. Do you believe me?'' He asks. ''Yeah, but what kind of things?''I say, even though I know what he's probably going to say.''Unusual.....paranormal things. Like, one night, the lights were flickering andit looked like someone was standing in front of the cell, but when the lightturned on, they were suddenly gone. '' He says.
