It was another day on base and Y/n was watching the recruits like a hawk. She was waiting for an injury to happen so she could patch them up.

Though there had been plenty of those today. Her fiancée was doing exercises and drills with them today and so far the worst wound was a shattered jaw. He really needed to stop allowing fist fights with out protection.

Just then he jogged up to her a look a worry on his face. "Love one of the recruits is on fire and I don't think he's going to make it this time!" It took her a moment to process what he had just said.

"How did they set the other on fire with a gun?"
"Magic."
