Short like really short I know but I'm working on some other stories and I'm working on school to.

I fluttered my eyes open, the light above burned as I shut them again. I opened them again and moved my hand to try and shield my eyes from the harmful light.

As soon as I moved my hand I felt a sharp pain run up my arm. A loud scream came out of my mouth and tears started to form in my eyes.

What happened. The tears started to roll down my face and I started to cry uncontrollably. I covered my mouth with my hand. Rushing into the room was James with a worried expression on his face.

The pain didn't go away but I tried my best to ignore it. James took my hand and held it, he pulled up a chair he sat on the chair and continued to hold my hand.

He kissed my hand and played with my hair. We laughed and talked, a smile was plastered on my face most of the day. He made all the pain go away.

The doctors came in and checked on me. I had to stay for a couple of days before I got to go home. James stayed by my side the whole time.

"Lila and Macy visited you." James brushed my hair out of my face. I smiled. A nurse with grey hair walked into the room with a small paper cup and some water.

She handed them to me and I took them. "What's this?" I asked. "Pain killers, feel better soon." She smiled and left. I took the pain killers.

It took a while before they kicked in but when they did it was amazing. The pain was gone and I was happy and laughing. My eyes shut and I started to doze off.

James kissed my forehead and continued to hold my hand in his as I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
