I quietly looked outside the window.I mean,what do you say after getting rescued from a psycho by a bunch of random strangers?

I hadn't realized we had landed until everyone started standing up.I followed close behind as I looked around me.

It was inside a cave and many things filled the room.I just saw a wide open space currently but I knew that's not what was all there.

I slightly jumped as a familiar hand was put on my shoulder.It was a tall man wearing a black suit with a blue bird on his chest.

Of course he seemed familiar!I had seen him before in Gotham.I believe his name was Nightwing."Follow me."

I held back a gulp as I cautiously followed after him.He opened a door to a room with a table.

Two people were sitting at the end.Black Canary and Green Arrow.I slowly took a seat as Nightwing went over by them.

"What is your name?"BC asked with a smile.I knew she probably was told my name already but I told them anyway.

"Caitie."And can I go home now?I whispered in my mind.

BC nodded."Can you explain what had happened?"I swallowed.I knew they'd ask but I still was uncomfortable.

I told them everything from the bank to being rescued.Except the tiny detail where I can turn into a fox.

After I had finished,Green Arrow sighed."Is that everything that happened?"I nodded.

"Maybe you can tell us more about this power of yours."I silently cursed myself.Of course they knew.I silently glared at Nightwing.

Batman probably told him.And the whole team for the mission too.I looked at my hands.

"I'd rather not talk about it."I murmured.

Canary sighed."We just want to help.Please.Any information is helpful."I closed my eyes and inhaled deeply.

"There was a car crash.It was raining really hard and a truck rammed into us.I....."The car crash played like a recording in my mind,a recording you couldn't stop.

Sadness washed over me but I pushed the feeling down."I was the only survivor.There was a fox,and without him I would have died."

I stared silently at my hands but I could feel theirs eyes on me.Sympathy or pity I couldn't tell and I didn't care.

All I wanted to do was get away from here,the constant reminder of what had happened.

Canary's voice finally broke the silence."Who was in the vehicle with you?"

I glanced up and her voice was very soft.

I swallowed."My....my mother."I hadn't dared udder the words since the crash.

Many feelings swirled inside of me but I focused on what was happening,which you'd think would be easy to do.

"Who have you been staying with?Im sure they've been worried sick about you."I shrugged.

"No one.I've just been.......wondering."

"Any other living relatives you know about?"I dug my nails into my jeans.I never knew any of my relatives.

My father's relatives are either dead or in jail.I never knew my mother's side because she never talked about them.

The only person left was my father who was in jail and never around."No one that counts."I said with surprising hatred.

Green Arrow nodded."Why don't you go hang around with the team as we discuss a few things?"

I quietly nodded but I was not fine with it.That had always been my pet peeve at school.I knew most of the teachers hated me since I was terrible at school but a few kids did it as well.

Which is usually why I ended in the principal's office.How did they not expect me to punch a kid in the nose when he made fun of my 'father'.

My mom would always talk to the principle while I waited outside.If it was something that has to do with me,why can't I listen too?

Never the less,I followed NightWing out into the 'main area' from what I was guessing.

I leaned against the wall as he talked to the dark skinned man again.I jolted slightly as kid whatever-his-name-was appeared in front of me.

He grinned."Did I scare you?"I glared and scoffed."Ya right."

"Says the girl who looked scared half to death when I was in front of you."Two could play it that game.

"And says the kid dresses up as yellow as a banana."I grinned.

He smiled."She speaks.I'm Bart."He winks as I roll my eyes.

"So are you staying?On the team I mean?"I scoff.

"I'm not here to join your team but even so,I'm not exactly a team players."Which was half true.

I preferred to work alone but mainly because I had no friends.He opened his mouth but paused as the man walked over.

"I'm Aqualad,and I've seen you've met Kid Flash.You can wait in the kitchen as we finish discussing some things."

About me.I added as I followed Kid Flash in pot the kitchen.There was a couch as well as a tv in there.

My body stiffened as I saw a few other people in there.I avoided their gaze as I quietly sat on the couch.On the table was random pieces of paper with a few books and a pencil.

Probably from one of the members.I picked up the pencil and started drawing on the paper.I'm sure they wouldn't mind.

My hand almost flew across the paper as I drew.My mother had told me I was a great artist but I wasn't so sure.It wasn't that good.

I drew a few more minutes and my head snapped up as Black Canary entered the room.

She walked over to me."Please come with me.We have much to discuss."
