Breath 3
"See what I mean dad?!" It had been two days since the encounter with the hooded figure.
"Yes, I know, they definitely were trained well... and very interesting. I still am amazed at their knowledge on your identity..." Clark hummed.
"Boys... please no superhero talk at the table, at least for breakfast." Lois chided as she walked out to them with their extra plates of bacon.
Jon grinned, "Sorry mom, thank ya!" He chirped as he took a big ol' bite of crispy pork.
Clark chuckled at his son and pretty much did the same.
But still, the hooded figure was on the back of their minds. Jon decided he would figure out who it was no matter what.

The figure looked down at their hands, in it was a photo of Superboy, their next victim. They crumpled the paper harshly before throwing it off a building.
"Do it for the mission."
They turned and stalked off into the shadows.

Later that night, Jon was on patrol as Superboy. He flew around looking for any signs of mischief when he spotted a familiar person standing on a rooftop.
When he landed his eyes widened seeing the knife in the other's hand, "Going on a hunt...?" He joked warily.
The figure didn't laugh. They took a step forward, "I am sorry, but you're my new mission." They raised the knife and charged forward.
Superboy gasped and jumped backwards, leaving a dent in the building below him. "Wait- what?!" He yelped as he was cut across the arm.
Why wasn't the figure using the Kryptonite laced knife or the dog whistle...?
"Can't we just talk it out-?"
"Ugh! Just shut up!" The exotic voice rang as they rose their pitch. They kicked behind Superboy's knee and knocked him down on the ground, as he was about to plunge the knife down, Superboy reached up and tugged down the hood.
Superboy let out an audible gasp as did the... boy. "You're... so cute!" Superboy exclaimed.
The boy's face flushed a deep shade and growled, "I am not cute! You're distracting me!" He went to raise his knife but there was still a smile on Superboy's face.
"I'm serious, wow, I knew your voice sounded like it had an accent, I couldn't place where! What is it?" Superboy rambled.
The boy grew redder with the question, "I-It's Arabic! Now shut up and let me kill you- whoa!"
The boy fell onto his back as Superboy shoved him down, hovering above him, "Arabic... huh... you're so small compared to me... how old are you?"
"Get off of me, you realize I have knives hidden all over my body, right?" The boy grumbled.
"If you wanted to use them you would've by now, answer my question." Superboy had a grin on his face.
The tan boy sighed heavily and just let his body relax, "I'm seventeen..." he mumbled, embarrassed that the other was so much bigger than him.
"Seventeen... I'm fifteen. You're so cute though, for being older than me." Superboy teased, still not moving.
"Humph. At least I'm older."
"Taller~"
"Shut up!"
Superboy laughed and cooed over how cute the other one was until finally the boy's face couldn't get any redder, "Whats your name?"
"As if I could tell you that." The red faced boy snapped, turning his head away from him.
"Hmm... I'll tell you mine." Superboy offered, a smile in place.
The boy beneath him sighed again and groaned, "My name is Damian." He muttered.
"Damian... nice name, I'm Jonathan Kent, but you can call me Jon." Superboy introduced.
Damian rolled his eyes and shoved Superboy off of him and winced at his wrist, "You used too much strength, idiot..."
"Oh, sorry about that." Jon gently took the other's hands into his own as he inspected the bruising, a frown on his face.
Damian was flushed as he did so but ignored the pounding in his heart and head as he had a job, "Well, this was nice, but I need to kill you."
"Please don't."
"Sorry, but it's my mission." Damian was reaching down again when Jon pinned him to the ground again.
"Wait- so like- what if you become good... work with me? Please..." Superboy almost begged.
"I-I can't... I'm with the league- and I'm- I'm the heir... my mother is Talia Al Ghul..." Damian stammered. He didn't know why... but he wanted to stay with Jon.
Superboy smiles softly and gently leaned down, kissing the other's cheek, "Think about it." And he was gone in a flash, leaving a bamboozled Damian Wayne with no death mark.
