*3rd POV*

Rio was celebrating New Years. "Welcome to Rio!" Someone said. Everyone was celebrating happily, even the birds were celebrating.

*My POV*

"What good is love?" I sang as Nico, and I danced. "Am I your baby love?" Nico sang as we danced. "If it's not your love?" I sang as Pedro, Nico, and I slide down some cement. "Is it a crazy love?" Nico sang flashing the light on Pedro.

"This is a crazy party, I'm so glad I'm here with everybody, baby, move your body, shake it to the ground, break it, break it, break it down, Blu." Pedro sang before the light shined on Blu and Jewel who were originally dancing.

"Me? Uh..." Blu said nervously. "What's a song if you can't hear it too?" Blu sang nervously. Pedro squawks happily as the crowd cheers. Nico and I kept dancing. "Can't imagine dancing without you." Jewel and I sang as Jewel ran her feather under Blu's chin.

"A shooting star ain't really nothing to see." Blu and Nico sang. "If you're not right here standing next to me." Jewel and I sang teasingly. "Oh." Blu said before laughing. Jewel kisses Blu as I kiss Nico.

We all kept dancing and enjoying the night. Blu tripped over his own feet and ended up dipping Jewel as Nico and I danced near them. "For a bird from Minnesota, you've got some news." Jewel told Blu as they kept dancing.

"Oh, that wasn't a move. That was an accident. But I accept the compliment." Blu said as they kept dancing. "It's great Rafael could watch the kids." Nico said as the four of us kept dancing. "Yeah. It looks like you're stuck with us all night." Blu teased.

"You're my one and only, Blu/Nico." Jewel and I said. "That's a good thing since I'm the only other one." Blu teased as him and Jewel leaned their beaks together as Nico and I did the same. "Hey, you lovebirds! Happy New Year!" Rafael said and we turned to see him and his wife dancing.

"Rafi? Where are the--" Nico began to ask but was cut off. "The kids are with Luiz. No worries!" Rafael said. "Uh, worries. Right here." Blu said when we heard vocalizing, realizing it was Luiz. "Luiz? Where are the kids?" I asked.

"What? I don't have any kids." Luiz said, annoying me, Jewel, Blu, and Nico. "Our kids!" We said. "Oh, right. I left them with Tiny." Luiz said. "Tiny?!" We asked panicked. "What? She's an excellent babysitter." Luiz said.

*3rd POV*

"I'm a terrible babysitter!" Tiny said as she was tied to a firework. There was three blue macaw baby's, and a yellow canary baby. "This is gonna be awesome!" Tiago said, the only boy of Blu and Jewel.

"All right. I've done all the calculations, and each explosion will be perfectly synced to the beat. Unless I didn't carry the one." Bia said as she held the match to light the firework. "Here's my vision. Red, blue, green, yellow, yellow! Purple." Carla said happily.

"That's oddly specific, Carla." Lily, Izzy and Nico's daughter said. Tiago took the match from Bia. "Hey!" Bia said. "Here's my vision. Boom! Crash! Bang! Ka-pow!" Tiago said lighting the match. "I don't think your parents would like this very much." Tiny said looking at the children.

Tiago cracked his neck. "Here we go." Tiago said and went to light the firework, but Jewel stopped him as her, Blu, Nico, and Izzy arrived.

*My POV*

"Whoa. Whoa. Where you goin', little bird?" Jewel asked grabbing Tiago by his foot gently. Blu took the match as him, Nico, and I arrived and landed on the ground. "What is this?" Blu asked. "Oh, dad." Tiago said disappointed.

Lily chuckled nervously as she saw me and Nico. "Guys, you know the rules. No pyrotechnics without adult supervision." Blu said as the four of us looked at the children. "We asked Tiny." Bia tried to defend themselves.

"That's even worse. Sorry Tiny." Blu apologized as we faced her. "You don't have to pay me, Senor Blu." Tiny said before we faced the kids. "Kids, next time, ask me, or Nico." Blu said. "But you guys always say no." Lily said.

"No, we don't." Nico said trying to defend him and Blu. "Dad, Uncle Nico you're in denial." Tiago said. "Okay. Honey do I always say no?" Blu asked Jewel. "Yes. I mean, uh, no." Jewel said defending Blu.

"Great. Now Mom's saying it too." Carla said. The match had burned Blu's foot. "Ow! Ow! Ooh, ooh, ow. Listen, we are the last blue Spix's macaws left on the planet. Including yellow canary's. We have to stay safe. Birds with blue and yellow feathers--" Blu said but was cut off.

"Have to stick together." The kids said annoyed. Carla sniffed. "I smell chicken." Carla said and we saw Blu's tail on fire due to the match. Blu began running around in panic as his tail burned. As he ran past the firework that Tiny was tied to and lit it on fire.

Blu kept saying no as we watched him run around. "By my calculations, that's his 27th "no" today." Bia said. As Tiny tried to blow the fire out, it only lit the others on fire. "Help!" Tiny called out.

Blu rushed over and let Tiny go, only to get caught int he ropes. Blu began to whimper. "Everybody, fly!" Blu said causing all of us to fly off in a panic as the humans were counting down.

We saw the fireworks explode and soon, Blu landed on the statue that we landed on. We stood together. "Oh, man. How come Dad gets to have all the fun?" Tiago asked annoyed. "Look! It works!" Caral said as we watched the fireworks go off. "Well, this year is off to a great start." Nico said as we stood together like a family.
