The four of them dispersed as their flight was announced. Entering the airway Randhir looked for his seat only to find it next to his arch enemy.

"No way!"

Sanyukta looked at him with a slight smile on her face which disappeared as soon as it came as he gave her an accusing glance.

Randhir asked the air hostess for the change of seats but unfortunately for him, the plane was full with no alternate seat available at that moment .

"Well I guess we are stuck together until we land" Sanyukta chuckled making Randhir groan.

"Yes I guess, my day is not so good anymore that you are here. I wish I get our of this plane sooner because I hate that I have to sit next to you and moreover I hate you!" His words stung Sanyukta but she chose not to show that she was affected. She had been strong all these years an there is nothing which broke her more than his time to time taunts. His words were like a arrows which pierced right through her heart. And why not, while she had been craving for his presence, he loathed the mere sight of her. Strange how things changed over years and now she was all alone.

Well technically not! All thanks to vidushi. If not for her she would have been isolated a long ago. Vidushi was the only good out of all that happened in her life. She was the best friend everyone desired for. And having her beside her made her more strong.

"It's not like I did it on purpose. It's just your rotten luck. You are stuck with me mister. And you know it. The plane is not going to land any sooner so just stop being a baby and complaining about having to sit with me." Sanyukta retorted with a sweet smile on her face causing Randhir to shake his head in annoyance.

"Who knows? Maybe you had it planned all along. After all that's what girls like you are good at." Randhir mocked her hitting a nerve.

"Girls like me?" She whispered in a small voice. While Randhir who heard her words choose to remain silent. Yeah of course 'girls like her '..she should have known. Sanyukta sighed wiping the lone tear that escaped her eyes. An announcement was made as it was time for take off. Sanyukta shut her eyes clutching the rear end of the seat as the plane took off. She stopped breathing for a while. Randhir didn't give a damn that she was scared but a air hostess who noticed her distress came right to them, trying to help her out.

"Ma'am you have to breath. Take a deep breath. Everything is fine. You are fine" the air hostess tried to calm her down while it was not working out. The more she tried to calm her down, the more sanyukta panicked. Even vidushi looked scared looking at her best friend's situation.

Right when the air hostess thought that she had to call for help, Randhir caught her hands in one of his as the other rubbed her back. His eyes locked with hers as her breathing slowed down. He asked the air hostess if she could get a hot chocolate while everyone including Vidushi and Parth looked at them in awe.

The air hostess got the hot chocolate and forwarded it to him. Sanyukta gave a week thank you as she took small sips and the situation seemed to have lightened causing everyone to take a sigh of relief. Randhir and Sanyukta were silent all this while. There were no words exchanged but their actions spoke otherwise.

"You still get those panick attacks?" He asked breaking their hour long silence.

"I thought it stopped. When did it start again?" Randhir asked while Sanyukta stiffened at his question. She never thought he would question it. She gulped before her face turned emotionless.

"None of your god dammed business." Came her curt reply.

"Why did I even ask you? Anyways I don't care. I just hate you and it's better if you stay away from me." He retorted with bitterness in his voice.

"I never asked you for help. You should have just let me be." Sanyukta sighed turning her face to the other side.

"You are right. I shouldn't have. It doesn't mean I care. It was plain humanity which you certainty lack. I can't just not help when I see someone in trouble. Unlike you of course. I am not a coward who runs away when I could have helped." Randhir said, hate clear in his voice.Sanyukta didn't bother to retort or reply erking him the most.

"What? Cat got your tongue?" He mocked to receive a reaction. But She was too good at hiding emotions. Only if he knew! Randhir was about to burst out at her when they were interrupted by Vidushi.

"Bhai (Brother) , if you don't mind can I sit here. Parth wants to talk with you too and I feel you are not so comfortable here." Vidushi said in an unsure voice.

"Mm. .Am okay. Tell Parth we will talk after we land." Randhir said with a small smile his face. He didn't want his sister to be in 'her' company.

"Oh come on bhai! Moreover I want to look outside and you have a window seat too. Don't worry I wouldn't talk, just sit by and mind my own business. Nothing you need to worry about. I will be fine." Vidushi said trying to convince her brother. While he just gave a nod, glancing at her one last time before they switched seats.

"Are you fine?" Vidushi asked as soon as her brother was out of sight.

"I am more than fine." Sanyukta assured her with a smile.

"Please don't think that smile can fool me Sany. I know you very well and that fake smile doesn't work on me. What did bhai do now? " Vidushi asked coming straight to the point.

"Nothing you need to worry about. Just a hearty talk, nothing more nothing less."

'Why do you always hide your pain. You try to veil it but it's visible in your eyes. You know you were not at fault.' Vidushi spoke to her through her eyes.

'You are wrong here. Because I was, and I am at fault. And nothing could change it.'

Sometimes we don't need words to convey. Silence could always fix the missing pieces and solve the puzzle. We just need to try.
