I looked all over the house for mom, but I still couldn't find her anywhere.

"Mom!" I yelled one last time.

Finally, I gave up. I sat down on the couch right next to the Red Riding Hood book. I looked at it for a little while then picked it up when I opened the book to my surprise under the golden letters that said Little Red Riding Hood there where small black letters that said Your Story Untold... 

"What in the world," I said out loud to myself.

I quickly turned the page, and started reading.

"That's funny... the illustration of Little Red Riding Hood looks a lot like me," I said while examining the picture.

"Ruby!" a voice called from up stairs.

I shot up from my seat surprised to hear a voice.

"Yes?" I responded.

"You need to see your grandmother in the woods," the voice said.

My grandmother? I thought to myself.

"I never vist her though! Why do I have to go?" I said frustrated 

"You must go," the voice faded out and all was quiet.

 I sat down and tried to make up my mind, but I decided to go. What a mistake that was. I got up and grabbed my coat and boots and ran out the front door towards the woods. The only  thing I brought with me was my book. Something seemed to strange about it to leave it behind.
