Garnet's P.O.V

Garnet reached down and cradled Amethyst's gem in her arms safely. Then formed a light, thin bubble around it and sent it off. She'd have time to deal with that later...or would she? Could Amethyst be saved? Later...her main problem resided elsewhere. Steven was in trouble and she could see it NOW. The problem would soon reveal itself in any given moment... the race to HER room was on.

She dashed through curving hallways, tricky rooms, empty space, and the Crystal Heart, using her future vision every step of the way. Any possibility could be reality. It felt good to be back together after so long...after so much had happened. The pain they both endured-

Pearl's P.O.V

"Once your gone..." she stumbled closer, her hands gripping the handle of the machete, thick blood covering the blade from her previous kill. "O-once your gone..she'll come back. Rose will lead us once again. Rose will comfort me..."

Steven's P.O.V

"Pearl, stop it!!!! S-stop it!!!!" He held his side and fell down Into a pile of Amethyst's junk. A bubble concealed him quickly and he closed his eyes, listening to the stab of the knife going through the hollow of it. Slicing it up and making it disappear.

"YOU TRIED TO AVOID YOUR FATE!" She raised it high above his head and brought it down-

"NO!"

Garnet's P.O.V

"No...YOU WON'T!!!!" She gripped the blade in one hand, blood gushed down and covered the floor below them, splashing all over Pearl's feet. "STEVEN. GO. NOW!!!!!!"

She waited until the sounds of his thudding feet stopped...until he was no longer in earshot.

Pearl's P.O.V

She brought her other hand across Garnet's face quickly and her glasses skidded across the floor with a scraping sound, and 3 menacing eyes stared back at her. "LET GO!!!! H-HOW DID- GET OFF OF ME!!!!" She spat, lodging a foot into her stomach.

Garnet took another hand and wrestled the blade from her hands and threw it. "YOUR SICK PEARL!!!!!! FOR WHAT YOU'VE DONE YOU'LL PAY FOR!!!!"

Garnet's P.O.V

She forcefully shoved her over and over, throwing horrible words her way. "YOU'VE BROKEN ROSE'S WORDS! YOU'VE DIRTIED OUR PROMISE! YOU HURT HER! YOU BROKE THIS TEAM!!!!! YOU DESERVE A FATE WORSE THAN WHAT WE'VE BEEN THROUGH, WHAT YOU PUT US THROUGH!! WHY!?" She cornered Pearl and rested a hand on her thin neck, staring into her eyes.

Pearl's P.O.V

Pearl's tears fell. "I-I I don't know why. I...I wanted....I wanted to be with y-you. " She watched Garnet's eyes narrow in anger. "To have something...similar to your love. I-I feel so alone by myself...without Rose. Without anyone..."

The hand on her neck tightened slowly.

"G-Garnet please! F-Forgive me, I-I only wanted-ACK!"

Garnet's P.O.V

They could feel her trembling in trepidation.

We can't forgive her!

I can't forgive her...not after what she's don't to us.

She gripped her neck more, leaving her no way to breathe, struggling and gasping for air, trying to pry her hands off. "Pearl. YOUR CRAZY IF YOU EVEN SUCH AS THINK I'LL LET YOU GO!!!!!!" She snapped her neck in two, blood spilling all over her hands...the smell, vulgar. Stale.

Pearl glowed and then her body was reduced to nothing but the glint in her gem....
