"I'll be leaving and at noon, my realtor will come and help you pick which home you want to reside in. My interior designer will help you decorate and furnish the house of whatever you want." She said.

I nodded, "Again I apologize for my actions and my mother's...I will speak to you soon once I call a meeting with the board. I will need you to... testify."

"Umm alright..." I said.

She touched my hand and began to walk off. "Oh I almost forgot!" She turned on her heels and came back towards me digging in her purse.

"Here.." She handed me a card.

"What is this?" I questioned.

"Open it.. my partial gift." She smiled then left the room.

"Hmm," Cyan smiled and walked around, "I'll be back with food.. and you are going to eat. You know you want food fatty." She laughed.

I rolled my eyes and she left. I leave this place tomorrow.

I opened the card and it read:

I opened it and was met with a picture of her and on the side of it had her hand print and foot print. She's so beautiful and I created her.

It doesn't even look like I gave birth to her just three days ago. I know she's going to grow up to be a gorgeous woman. She is perfect.. literally. Half of my heart in one picture... the other half in a whole other state.

I packed a bag for myself and well Maverick...I just went in and said let's go, so I didn't really pack him a bag.

I honestly feel for Macey and Maverick. Nubia is a two faced bitch for what she did. That girl was very sweet and she did not deserve any of this. I'm not even done with Nubia. Just wait till I get back.

We reached the airport and I bought two tickets to Houston, Texas. Then we'll uber to Third Ward or wherever they are.

We got out tickets and waited for our flight.

"You ever been in a plane before?" I asked Maverick.

"No..."

"Are you...nervous?" I asked.

He nodded his head. "Hey don't worry... it's fun. It's like flying on superman's back. You get to see the clouds and you can even eat snacks and watch tv.."

"Rweally?" He looked up. I smiled at him. He's so sweet and innocent, "Yes really.."

"Flight 386 to Houston, Texas boarding now." The lady over the intercom announced.

While I was in the hospital, the realtor came. I picked a nice house. Not to big or small. Enough for Mavericks own room and a room for Empriss. That is until she's old enough to sleep in it.  Then extra rooms to make a play room and maybe something else.

Cyan drove me to the new house cause I had no way of getting around and because we had befriended each other. She's really funny and she's very sweet and caring.

"Ooooh Macey let me come stay with you!" She awed as we pulled up to my new house.

"You can one night. It's a 5 bedroom. One for me, Maverick, and Empriss. Then a guest room and a play room." I said.

"Got it all figured out.." She laughed. "I can't wait for you to get her back. It's a shame Renee did all that to you." She said softly.

"It's ok because I'm getting her back and Maverick and we're all gonna start over and live life the right way.." I responded.

She shook her head. That's all I ever wanted to do. Turn over a new leaf just to feel and experience the greater side of life.

I'm finally doing it but I don't know if it's actually going to happen.

"Let's go inside and get you settled in.." She said.

"Come help me... my pussy still hurts." I whined. I tried not to laugh but I couldn't help it when she fell out laughing.

"Trust me boo it'll be hurting for a while." She came to my side of the car.

"Uh uhhhh," I shook my head like a kid. I hugged and crossed my arms.

"Girl you better fix your damn face and uncross yo arms.. you ain't grown," She imitated somebody's mother.

We laughed as she was helping me out the car. I was so serious when I said my Vag was hurting. Pushing out a baby is no easy shit and my baby came out small.

"Do you have a phone?" She asked.

"Nope... fell when I was Kidnapped," I said nonchalantly.

She straight faced me. "Ooohkay.... well when is that money coming through?" She asked.

Why? You ain't getting none.

"I want to make sure you have what you need. I'm sure you don't have any clothes and you need to shower tonight." She looked me up and down.

"Well Valerie let a note saying some money will be brought over here because if she put into an account of out hers, her mother can see where it's being wired to." I said.

"Oh ok.." She opened the door. "Wooow Macey this is-"

"Stunning? Yes I know.." I smirked.

"I'm glad you're getting everything together.." She walked around the entrance.

I just left Macey's new place and I am completely jealous, but I'm so happy for her. She's going to let me help decorate Empriss's Nursery and Maverick's room.

My best friend is a Lawyer and I wanted to Leo her get Maverick back so I went to go talk to her about the situation see if she had any advice.

I drove to her house and luckily she was there. She typically busy on these days so it's unusual for me.

I went up to her door as knocked, "Hey!" She hugged me. "Come in come in.." I walked in and she closed and locked the door. "Where's my nephew?" I asked searching the house.

"With his daddy.. let that go." She laughed. I sat down and sighed.

"What's going on?"

"Well crazy shit. So remember Ricky?"

"Girl how could I forget..?" She sat next to me.

"Well he raped this girl named Macey-" When I said that her face changed to a confused look. I didn't pay much attention but it seem to have really caught hers. "-and she went to go live with a new girl she met in St. Louis with her little brother Maverick."

"Wait..." She stopped me. Rude..

"Macey Bowen?" She asked.

"Yes..why?"

She thought for a minute. "I'll tell you after...continue."

"Mhmm... but anyway the girl she was living with she was doing good. Maverick was back in school and she decided to keep the baby. So fast forward about two months she said her new girl had ratted on her to her friend and had Macey brought back down here. Why? Because she was having Ricky's baby and You know Renee crazy ass..."

"Oh shit what she do?"

"She had this girl locked in a room day and night until she went into labor. She gave Macey a choice to either keep the baby and stay put in that room or give up her rights and let Renee, Val, and Freda raise it."

"Why would she do that?" She asked.

"Well you see Val told us that Renee was hurt about me losing Empriss and she had all of her fortune and shit else I told you about, put under Empriss's name. So when Macey had the baby Renee had first gave her a choice to choose whatever name she wanted. Well Renee didn't like it so she forced her to change it to Empriss."

"Girl no.. That's some disrespectful shit. How is she going make her name the baby after her legit first grandchild?"

"I don't know..it did hurt me cause that baby was suppose to be mine but I can't be mad... but the story goes on. Renee took the baby and left Macey with nothing. That girl Macey was with in St. Louis tricked Macey into signing papers making that girl Maverick's legal guardian. So he's up there.. and she lied to him and told him that Macey abandoned him."

She looked at me, "Are you serious?"

"Are you black?" I retorted.

"Well First off I can help Macey change the baby's name.. what was the original?"

"Kaelee... she told me she wanted to name the baby after her first love. She was the one who encouraged her to keep it."

"Kaelee?"

"Yea Kaelee La'Reign..." I said.

She stood up and jumped around. What the fuck?

"You oka-"

"Kaylee! Kaylee Williams!" She shouted.

"Isn't she the one who was executed?"

"No! I mean yes but I was her lawyer!"

"You mean to tell me you're the one who got her down to 15 damn years off a life sentence? Death penalty actually.." I asked very surprised.

She's a damn good lawyer then.

"Yes! Yes! Yes! She gets out next month because I had her put in a program that helps her get time taking off for doing good and other s-shi- look I have to go."

"What why? There's mor-"

"I'm going to tell Kaylee that Macey is still down here and she needs her.."
