"Kaylee..." I was dreaming. I had to be dreaming. She's dead! How the fuck is she standing right here?!

"M-Macey.. Macey is that you..?" She asked softly. She walked towards me but I backed away. This isn't real.

I began to pinch myself. "Wake up...Wake up...Ouch!-"

"Macey!" She was now in front of me. My body is in shock. "Y-You're dead...Kaylee you're dead..." I whispered to myself. She shook her head as I said it. "No..no baby it's me.." She smiled. She had tears in her eyes.

Her voice... that smooth, low, yet raspy voice. God I felt like it's been years since I heard it.

"Is it really you..?" I stared into those big red brown eyes of hers. I see me... Us... my first love.

She slowly hugged me but it took so much convincing that it was her.

"I'm home.." She hugged me tighter... "and I'm never letting you go again baby girl.." She kissed my cheek. Those words I remember. I slowly wrapped my arms around her and cried into her shoulder.

I really thought she was dead. I thought I'd never see her again and hear she is. But how did she get off the penalty?

I quickly pulled back and punched her in her chest. "Damn Macey.." She winced.

Everyone's face turned from "awww" to "the hell got into her?"

"You effer, you had me thinking you were dead!" I yelled. She chuckled. "There's my baby.." She kissed my cheek smiling.

"I got her down on her time. It took a lot but I was able to pull through.." The lady on the couch said.

"Can I at least get a kiss-" I smashed my lips against hers and fell into her warm hug. I've missed her lips against mine. Her tongue exploring my mouth.

"Okay people.." Cyan clapped. We detached from each other's face blushing really hard.

"Why didn't you write me? I could've at least kno-"

"Baby I did.. every damn day I wrote you. " she said.

"The house was taken out of my custody.." I don't know where they would be right now.

"They probably threw them away.." I got sad again.

"No they didn't actually..." She said. I looked up at her poking my lip out. "Stop that baby.. you're too beautiful to be pouting.. I know what happened. My lawyer kept me informed on that situation so every letter I wrote, I sent to her. She has them..." I looked at her lawyer and she grinned from ear to ear.

"Look behind you.." She whispered. I turned around and there were two big ass boxes sitting in the kitchen.

I felt Kaylee wrap her arms around my waist. "Sometimes I couldn't help but send two or three at a time... some are even for Maverick." Hearing his name made my heart drop. I still don't have him.

"Where is he by the way.. I want to-"

"Kaylee.."

"Hmm?" She looked at me and I looked at Cyan and Valerie. She put the baby down and she was still sleeping in her car seat.

"Who is this.." She smiled.walking towards the car seat. I smiled looking at her playing with her hands.

"She's so small... she's adorable. Is she yours?" She looked up at Valerie. Valerie shook her head. Kaylee was obviously oblivious to who Empriss belonged too.

"Then who's baby is it?" Valerie looked at me with a small smile planted on her face. "Maybe you should ask Macey."

"Why would sh-..." Kaylee turned towards me. "You-" she pointed at me, then the baby, then back at me. I giggled and blushed.

"Can I-" she gestured towards the baby. I nodded and she grew excited. She bent down and unfastened her. Empriss stirred a little so she was a bit more careful. She picked her up and held her as she slept.

She yawned again and it was the most loving sight because Empriss opened one eye just a little and smiled. This is my family... it's not yet complete but it will be.

"Macey she's beautiful.." Kaylee rubbed her finger on her hair. "So soft.." She whispered.

"What's her name?" Kaylee bounced her a little. "Emp-"

"Kaelee," Valerie said softly.

Kaylee's face immediately lit up. "Is it really?" She asked me.

I nodded. "It was Kaelee. K-a-e-l-e-e. Kaelee La'Reign.." I said softly. "Things happened recently and I was forced to change her name to Empriss but it's not right. I love the name but my baby should t be named after who was originally suppose to be Empriss." I said looking over at Cyan. She smiled.

"I will help you get her name changed.." Valerie said.

"Thank you and babe this is Valerie.. Ricky's sister." She cringed. "Don't worry.. she was the one who helped through everything. She's the reason I have her now.." I kissed Kaelee's forehead.

"Ok.." Kaylee said.

"And if you don't want her to have our last name I totally understand. I'll send the papers and you two may discuss It over. She will still have everything in her name regardless. Just keep me in contact t so I can visits and check on my niece.." She chuckled.

"I will.. thank you again Val. Without you this wouldn't be possible."

"You're welcome Love.." She hugged me.

"Val I do have a question.."

"Hmm?"

"Why did she want my baby if she had Tee's son as her first grand child." I asked her.

"Simple... he's not his." She laughed. "I have to go.."

Oh... well then.

We waved her off and she left. Cyan left too then Kaylee's lawyer. It was just us. She was still holding her "Jr" and she would not put her down.

"Baby you can't hold her forever," I laughed.

"I can... this my little princess and Imma give her the world." She whispered kissing her hand. "But baby where's Maverick? I haven't heard from him and all this talking in sure he would've came down."

I don't know how to tell her what happened. Maybe I should just start from the beginning... that's to much but she should know the whole story so she understands.

"H-He... He umm.." I started. She raised her eyebrow. "He'sinSt.Louis," I said softly but quickly.

Her face dropped. "Macey what? Say that again.."

I sighed. "He's in St. Louis..."

"What?!" She yelled. The baby got startled and started making that face before they cry your head off. "Shh..shh.. Daddy's sorry.." She rocked her.

Daddy... hmmm..

Not right now Macey Jesus...

"Why is he there?" She asked with bass in her voice. You see when we got into arguments, as soon as that tone came out I said fuck whatever we arguing about. It's so sexy but it's so threatening and I love it.

I'm going to have to tell her.. so I did.

Minutes Later

"I'm going to kill that bitch." She growled.

"I am too shit.. I'm going to get him back so he can be back here." I said.

She agreed, "We can get tickets tomorrow and go find whoever this Nubia bitch is... I'm going to beat her ass for doing what she did and trying to take my baby away from me.." She used her free hand and grabbed me up. I laughed and kissed her cheek.

"I thought about you everyday.." I admitted. I did. There was never a time she left my mind. At some points I felt like I was cheating.

"I thought about you day and night. The first thing on my mind every morning and the last every night before bed." She smiled. "I thought I had lost you forever..." She said starting at me.

"No baby you didn't..." I placed my palm on the side of her face and she turned and kissed it.

"I love you Macey.."

"And I love you..."
