Harry stared into Snape's black eyes, then to his hand that's softly grabbing Harry's arm. Then he saw the bandage wrapped around his wrist. Harry muttered something, to soft for Snape to hear.

"What was that Harry?" Harry slowly looked back into his eyes and repeated himself. "Thank you..."

Severus is taken back by this statement, gasping slightly. Harry looked back down expecting a scold or insult. "You're welcome Harry." It was as if the words were fire. He winced at the words. Harry's head scolded himself. Harry looked back down to his bed and signed. "What's wrong Harry?"

Harry winced again. "You... you're saying 'Harry'. Why?" Snape looked taken back by his statement. He expected this question but not this soon. "Honestly, I do not know. While you were unconscious it just stuck."

Harry glanced back up to Snape. Snape's arm was still confidently holding Harry and it kind of scares him. Snape is never nice to people, let alone him. "Harry." A voice interrupts his thoughts and make Harry jump. "Y-yea?"

"Why'd you do it?" Snape said softly, gesturing to Harry's arm. Harry quickly looked away ashamed. "I want to leave... I'm tired of being in pain every single day. I'm tired of my uncle and my cupboard. I just want to..." Harry was cut off by the sobs that escaped his lips. He curled up into a ball, pulling his knees to his chest, and cried silently.

A tear fell down Snape's face as he watched the boy cry. He quickly got up and sat on the bed next to Harry. Snape's arms snaked around the boy, pulling him into an embrace. Harry tensed up, opening his eyes wide. "Go ahead and cry Harry, your never going back to the house. I promise you on my life."

Harry gasped quietly as he started to cry again. He squeezed Snape and put his head into his shoulder. Snape just held the trembling child, he needed this.

'Don't worry Lily, I'll take care of him...'

A/N: Sooo I'm sorry I take so long to update. I'm also sorry that this chapter is short. I'm actually on the way to Boston right now so I had some free time but I'm really busy with high school and home life. Sorry!
