Chapter One: Spiders & Memories.

Kai walks out to the others on the bounty. Jay, Cloe, Lloyd, Zane, and Nya are training, Wu is watching, and Misako is in the top incase they get an alert.

Kai walks out & starts to train as well. He watches the others. The finally human again Cole is sparing with Jay, Zane with Lloyd, and Nya off to the side with a punching bag. "Nya! Spar with me?" Kai calls and she smiles then nods.

After some time the alarms go off and everyone races to the top where Misako is checking to see what the issue is. "Looks like some giant spiders are invading the city!" Misako calls and the ninja spinjitsue into their suits then race out. They summon their dragons and fly down to the city.

Once they arive, Cole is first to strike with a couple big boulders being thrown at them. Nya goes next with some water whips. Jay hops off his dragon mid flight and zaps a couple spiders. Zane freezes some. Kai tourches a couple dozen & Lloyd blasts one or two before the rest run off in three diffrent directions. "Looks like we have to split up." Lloyd says. "NO!" Jay shreeks and runs up to his green friend. "NEVER SPLIT UP!" Jay screams in Lloyds face. Lloyd backs up a bit. "Why?" He asks the Lightning ninja. "Have you never seen a horror movie?!" Jay asks him. "No?" Lloyd answrs with a questioning gaze to Lloyd. "It's when the people split up that the killer picks them off one by one!" Jay bellows out. Kai shakes his head and pulls Lloyd back. "If it helps, you can pair up with Nya." The fire ninja says and Jay perks up.

Nya does a face palm.

Nya drags Jay down the path with the least spiders.

Zane looks to the other three. "So who am I with?" Kai asks. Cole & Lloyd both say: "ME!" at the same time then glare at each other. Kai gives them both questioning looks and so does Zane. Kai rolls his eyes. "Fine, I'll take Zane." He says.

Kai and his robotic friend walk down a path, leaving Cole & Lloyd to go down the one with the most spiders.

"I wounder what happened bacj there..." Kai says at he & Zane check an alley way. "What do you mean?" Zane asks. "First Jay freeks out like no tomorrow then that glare off between Lloyd & Cole..." Kai says with a thinking face. "I do not know..." Is Zane's reply.

Else where, Cole and Lloyd are looking down their own street. Lloyd shoots a look to Cole who does the same. They sigh in unison then turn to each other. "Do you like Kai or something?" They ask at the same time.

"Yes." is their unison answer.

They then give each other death glares and go back to the task at hand.

At the end of the day, the split was a bust since no more spiders where found. They all retreated back to the Bounty as the sun set. Zane cooked dinner, Nya went to her room, Jay went to the top with Misako, Wu & Lloyd went to Wu's room for some private Green Ninja lessons, Cole went to train, and Kai went to the room he shared with the guys. He walked to his dresser drawr and pulled out a photo album with the Anacondrai symbol on it.

Kai sat on his bed and fliped though the old album until he reached a picture. It was a pic of him as a little kid. He stood infront of an old rundown cabin with a toothy smile. His biological mother, Flaira stood behind him smiling, and next to them was Kai's dad, Pythor. Pythor had his arm around Flaira's shoulder and his free hand on Kai's shoulder. Flaira was in her Anacondrai form as well as Kai & the whole family smiled at the camera. Pythor's eyes never glowed back then.

Kai smiled at the image. He fliped to the next page to see them in the same pose, just with Flaira & Kai in human form. Kai looked to his mother's image with a disappointed frown. Her dark red hair hung haphazardly and her pink dress slightly shimmered in the sun. In that moment, a memory came to him.

~Memory Start * Kai's POV~

I hop out of bed as a widdle boy and run to my parwents woom in human form! Mommy & Daddy are still sweeping in swake form!*giggle*

I crawl on top of Daddy and jump up and down with my feet on eider side of him. Daddy wolts awake. He gives me a playful glare and smiles. "Now what you little trouble maker?" He asks as Mommy slowly gets up herself.

"I wan bweakfast!" I say and he chuckles. Mommy just goes back to sweep and Daddy picks me up as he gets out of bad. He sets me on his hip and we go to the kitchwhen.

He sets me on the tabel and swtarts cooking. I kick my legs and humm. Daddy puts on a swong after a bwit and I smile immediatwee! I WOVE THIS SWONG!

Daddy: "So she sain what's the problem baby?"

Me: "What's the pwobwem? I don't know!"

Both: "Well mabey I'm in love!"

Daddy: "Think about it every time, I think about it, Can't stop thinking 'bout it!"

Me: "How much longer will it take to cure this?"

Daddy: "Just to cure it cause I can't ignore it if it's love!"

Both: "Makes me wanna turn around and face me, but I don't know nothing 'bout love!"

Me: "Come on, come on!"

Daddy: "Turn a little faster."

Me: "Come on, come on!"

Daddy: "The world will follow after."

Me: "Come on, come on!"

Daddy: "Couse everybody's after love."

Me: "So I said I'm a snowball running!"

Daddy: "Running down into the spring that's coming all this love!"

Me: "Melting under blue skies!"

Both: "Belting out sunlight shimmering love!"

Daddy: "Well baby I surrender!"

Me: "To the strawberry ice cream!"

Daddy: "Never ever end of all this love!"

Me: "Well I didn't mean to do it!"

Daddy: "But there's no escaping your love!"

Both: These lines of lightning mean we're never alone, never alone, no, no!"

Me: "Come on, come on!"

Daddy: "Move a little closer."

Me: "Come on, come on!"

Daddy: "I want to hear you whisper."

Me: "Come on, come on!"

Daddy "Settle down inside my love."

Me: "Come on, come on!"

Daddy: "Jump a little higher."

Me: "Come on, come on!"

Daddy: "If you feel a little lighter."

Me: "Come on, come on!"

Daddy: "We were once upon a time in love!"

Aftwer da swong I giggle and Daddy hugs me.
