This was a request by Mina_Diva-Boo . MingMing is a former member of seventeen but was still a part of seventeen so this is still allowed. I'm getting kinda rusty, since I've bee focusing on my other unpublished books but I hope you like it!!!

Mina's POV

"can I take the blindfold off now?" I asked as I heard loud music and laughter around me

My boyfriend went to my house and told me to wear a dress then blindfolded me and took me somewhere where he said was a surprise. We drove for almost an hour to get to this place and I want to know where he took me. I had a bad feeling about this since I was in the car, or maybe I was just hungry.

"Sure!" I heard him say from behind me

I slowly put down the blindfold that was covering my eyes only to be hit by a water balloon in the back of my head. Everyone was laughing at me, all of them were wearing bikinis and swim trunks, while I was in my dress standing on a circular stage in the middle of the beach. I felt more water balloons being thrown at me. But I stood there tears getting washed away by the water, getting soaked, and being laughed at....

I looked around to find the exit but when I turned around I saw my boyfriend laughing at me while holding a girl on her waist. I looked at him unbelievably and realize, he was never my boyfriend after all. He just wanted to humiliate me!

And with that I took my heels off and ran away in the sand seeing the exit not so far away. I was still continuously being hit by water balloons which made me more soaked and my dress getting heavier

I ran away, away from that place, somewhere without anyone in sight. I fell to the ground soaked and crying, it was a very dark alley where the streetlights were the only source of light.

"Stupid Mina! Why did you answer that jerk! You looked like a fool in front of everyone!" I cried out hitting myself

I stopped and looked around when I heard footsteps. I saw a shadowy figure in the darkness getting closer to me. I slowly backed away but to my luck I hit a wall

"S-stay away!" I shouted and crawling to a ball but he didn't stop

"Get away from me!" I shouted once more but he still gave me the deaf ear and came closer until he stood in the light

I looked at his shoes and slowly looked up and gulped before looking at his face. He had a well toned body, biceps, muscles and a well-built abs beneath his thin sleeveless see through shirt. He had a serious expression plastered on his face but his smooth skin makes him less scary. All in all, he was perfectly hot, hotter than that jerk.

Yah! Mina! Why are you checking out a random stranger?! Stop that thought of yours! He still might harm you! I slapped myself and heard the guy chuckle

"Like what you see?" He said that made my face heat up

"N-n-no! Get away from me!" I stuttered

"Hey it's okay, other than this..." He gestured to his body "... I'm completely harmless" he said raising both his hands in the air with an innocent look

I laughed a bit as I calmed down seeing him perfectly harmless like he said

"Can I accompany you?" He asked and I nodded in response

He sat beside me. As I stared blankly at nothing

"So, why are you all wet and... Depressed?" He asked

I looked at him and he was looking at me curiously. I gave him a slight smile and explained

"Well... Boyfriend humiliated me at a beach party and I was wearing this dress, people threw water balloons at me to make everything more fun" I said sarcastically at the end

"why would he do that?" He asked

"Well he is known as the jerk in school and I'm one of the quiet persons. He made me believe he likes me and I ended up making a huge embarrassment of myself" I sighed as tears started to run down my cheeks again

I felt him wrap his arms around my shoulder making me lean on his shoulders.

"Hey it's okay. I still might be a stranger but I'm here for you" he said as he brushed my hair

"That makes me wonder. What's your name again?" I asked

"Well everyone calls me MingMing since that's my name" he said chuckling

Well as he said I called him MingMing. We stayed in that dark alley for as long as we did, talking about random stuff. He made me feel better, safe and special, and that dark alley didn't seem dark at all, it all brightened up after meeting MingMing

2 Days has passed after I met MingMing, and he went to my house every day. We became so close that we shared each other's secrets and problems, he even slept over for that two days but we didn't do anything wrong okay? We just hung out.

I never been happier in my entire life but it only had to be ruined by that day, Monday, I had to go to school and face everyone...

I was now in front of my school getting ready for bullies. But as I entered the school it was almost empty. There's class today right?

I heard noises in the quad and I rushed there to see what it was. I saw the people crowding in a place but I couldn't see what was happening. I went up the stage to get a better view and saw MingMing fighting with my ex boyfriend but MingMing was barely even hurt. But my ex was bruised all over and his lips was bleeding. My eyes widened at this sight and jumped off the stage and pushed pass all the people

"Ming!!!" I shouted and finally went pass everyone seeing my ex sitting on the ground and MingMing standing up glaring at the him but his expression softened when he saw me

"Oh look if it isn't little miss embarrassment" a guy joked out making everyone laugh

MingMing glared at that guy and everyone backed away

"Yah Ming, what are you doing?" I asked going beside him

"I'm defending you what do you think? It's okay, I swear everything's gonna be fine" he said

He suddenly wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to him making my face almost buried to his chest which made me gasp. I gulp as my hands accidentally touched his abdomen making me feel his abs. I blushed at the thought of that. Snap out of it Mina! What is wrong with you! Now is not the time for that! Aish!

"I am Mina's boyfriend. Her REAL boyfriend. And if any of you tries to make fun of her again, you're all getting it" he said and pointed to my ex

My eyes widened once again when he said he was my boyfriend. Is that true??? Cause I have no complaints about having a boyfriend like him. What are you even thinking Mina?! I slapped myself and MingMing looked at me chuckling

"What is going on here?!" I heard a shouted

Oh no, it's our principal which was my aunt and the guidance which was my mom. I bit my lip and hid behind MingMing

"Mom. This guy embarrassed a harmless girl in front of all the students here, out of schools property. Which is bullying. And I know that I beaten this guy up right now which also causes me a punishment, I accept that" he said, wait did he just say mom? To auntie?

And punishment? How did you know those? And that's when I just realized he was wearing our school uniform. Wait since when has he been a student here?

"Who is this girl?" Mom asked

MingMing pulled me from behind him revealing me to my mom. I smiled a bit and waved at her

"Mina?" Mom said shockingly "But I thought this was your boyfriend" she said pointing at my ex who was now trying to stand up

"He was... Not until he embarrassed me 2 days ago" I answered

"Okay everyone, go to your classes" Auntie said shooing the others away

Once the students were gone auntie and mom started questioning us

"You two know each other?" Auntie asked me and MingMing

"We knew each other 2 days ago after she got completely embarrassed" MingMing said

"Wait, so he's the guy who's been sleeping in your condo and not him?" Mom asked pointing at Ming and my ex. I bit my lip and nodded

"Well that's perfect!" Mom exclaimed clapping her hands and going near auntie

I looked at her weirdly. It was her cue to get mad at me but then she didn't. Strange.

"What?" I asked confused

"Oh, we were planning to tell you this tonight but me and your auntie were planning to introduce both of you tonight, and get you two to be friends and get to know more about each other and tell you about the engagement a few months later" mom explained

I stood there cluelessly. What? Engagement?

"Engagement? You mean, the girl you wanted me to meet before that I declined?" MingMing asked

"She's the one" auntie said smiling

I looked at MingMing. He knows about this engagement thing?

"Hey, where do you think you're going mister?!" Mom said pulling my ex by his ear and he whined in pain

I looked at auntie and mom then turned to look at MingMing. Am I the only one who has no idea what engagement they all are talking about?
