"If you all stay in your seats we promise to make everything as quickly as possible, to the unnecessaries don't waste your time running we do have other operatives standing outside. We will come to you and tell give you an order, if you do not comply you will be killed on the spot no matter what you were deemed." One of the men ordered behind his mask. All of the men were wearing black and covered every part of their bodies to protect their identities.

In an eerie silence the men started walking around looking at everyone on the bus, as if they were deliberating; but the more you watched their masks turn you could see they knew who they needed, they were just buying time. One of the masks appeared to be facing right towards Beau, my pulse pounded a terrible feeling emanating through my wrists. I didn't want Beau to be taken from my side, and he felt my nervousness. Had he not been clinging to my arm I would have stood and probably be the first dead today. I was trying to watch who the masks took the longest times the look at, and the most attention they spent on anyone was Beau. Were they determining his fate or did they already know what to do with him? I wanted to block him from their view, I wanted to run out of this bus with Beau still holding my hand and get out of here back to the safety of Nora, back behind the barrier. They knew the barrier was there now, they knew where it was and it would no longer be safe. I leaned over and covered part of Beau away from their view.

One gun strated to be pointed to me as my heart skipped a beat. "Watch that one she seems to want to be protective. Keep her in her seat, and before you suffocate your friend by crushing him against the window you are both a necessity. Stay seated and out of the way." One man ordered.

Beau released a deep breathe as he whispered into my ear, "It's okay we'll survive."

"But is that a good thing or a bad thing, we don't know what they want us for. I promised Nora's sister I'd watch over Mina and make sure she was safe." I searched the bus frantically for any sign of Mina.

"What do you mean? Nora's sister the policewoman?" Beau was still whispering but worried.

"Yeah she's the one who brought me to Nora, after losing another foster family."

"That can't be possible, Mina's mother is Nora's sister, Nora is Mina's aunt?" Beau seemed to be overworking this minor detail, all I knew was that I had to find Mina.

"My mother is supposed to be dead!" Beau's whisper shouted.

"And so is mine, I know it's not a good thing to say but now is not the time to think about your mother." I continued looking for Mina, finally seeing the other side of everyone who had ever told me something similar.

"Nora is my aunt, that means my mother is alive and Mina is my sister. That explains why our senses are so similar, but I never saw it before now." We both looked shocked to each other. "Give me a second I can find her." Beau closed his eyes as his ears started turning red, he was searching as fast as he could through the bus. I blocked him once again from the masks, one look and they'd know he was using his abilities.

Every second watching the masks look back and forth to everyone as another second I feared that Beau would be found out, I couldn't lose him. His eyes opened as he looked more relieved than I have ever seen. "She's safe." He sighed collapsing back into the seat.

"Where is she?"

"Mina, you heard everything and we won't let anyone hurt you. You'll get harmed if they know you're hiding so slip onto the seat before they notice." Beau whispered to no one in particular.

A small little girl with dirt on her face crawled out between my feet, she had been under me the whole time. Beau grabbed her arm and sat her on his lap holding her tight. "Now that I know who you are I will never let you go again." He whispered in her ear.

My heart fluttered; he only knew he had a sister for a minute yet he wanted to protect her as if he loved her his whole life. Mina was scared and buried her face into Beau's chest trying to keep quiet. The masks never noticed, and who knows what was taking them so long. A mask turned to us and pointed his gun towards Mina this time, "Let me see her face now!" He ordered.

Mina turned in an instant not knowing what else to do. Her royal blue eyes were puffy and red as she refused to let go of Beau. She clung to him as a lifeline, she must be digging her nails into Beau as he flinched but refused to let go of her either. "You three get off the bus and follow all instructions or you will be killed on the spot." A mask shifted to let us through the aisle. "Three necessaires coming out!" He called.

Beau picked up Mina and started to follow me as we walked through the small aisle to exit the bus. Everyone has the same fear in their eyes, so desperate, ture fear. Brittany and Courtney held each other close as they watched us pass, even Brittany who was always so strong and so brave was absolutely terrified. I guess I was walking so slowly as I was pushed out of the bus and down the stairs. Colliding with the pavement I was angered but held back my anger. Beau helped me stand up as he held both mine and Mina's hands carefully. Even with his vision impairment he needed to act strong, he needed to feel like he wasn't useless, that he was protecting us.

We followed a trail of other masks who ad made a path blocked by them and their guns, we followed it peacefully as it lead us to another bus, a more fancier coach bus then what we spent a long time riding in. "Get in." One mask said sternly holding his gun ready to fire, I was scared and allowed Beau to lead me, as he was lead by Mina. We all hurried into the back of the bus where three seats sat in a row next to a small bathroom, but we didn't care. Beau sat in the middle with Mina by the window and me out in the open, in clear view of the aisle. A bad feeling in the pit of my stomach made me feel like I was in the interrogation room again, wanting to hide and never bee seen from again. I laid my head against Beau's shoulder and Mina did the same. Beau smiled wrapping his arms around us. "You two are my girls now, I will never let anything happen to you." Beau softly kissed Mina's forehead as she closed her eyes ready to go to sleep, when he turned to me I was off guard as he pressed his lips to mine. Shocked at first I pulled away but in a second I found myself kissing him back. A perfect moment that was soon cut short as a loud bang sounded from outside, it was one I was all too familiar with. In that single bang I saw my mother fall to her death, a bullet wound in her chest.

"No!!! Brittany!!!" I heard a girl revenges cry as getting closer to the bus we were in. It was Courtney. She was thrown onto the bus by a few masks, she was fighting the whole way screaming and swearing at them. Beau stood and ran to her pulling her into a seat so she would be unharmed by the masks. Mina trembled as she flew into my arms, though I was trembling just as bad. A single gunshot and I could see the pain in Courtney's eyes, one that I shared. Brittany was dead.

I closed my eyes trying to shut out the past. More and more people were pushed into the bus, but not that many, and every single one an owner of a set of perfectly royal blue eyes. Others knew it too, they had noticed as people start getting picked. All the while constant gunshots rained outside spreading fear through the few survivors which all hid in the back of the bus; one even hiding himself in the bathroom, his anger furious as he swore under his breath.

For a second I looked out the window, where none of us wanted to look, everyone else was being dragged out of the bus and pushed to their knees. My eyes glued on them as one by one they were shot in the back of the head ad dragged into a hole ready to be filled with gravel. I watched as Brittany's dead corpse was thrown into the hole, Courtney must've saw it too as she sunk to the floor and sobbed louder than before. One by one corpses were filling the hole, until I saw Erin. She walked out of the bus with her head held high, smiling. "Paisley do not hold anything against yourself!" She shouted.

"Shut up, turn around, and on your knees." A mask pointed to the ground.

"You're going to kill me either way, so look at my eyes as you take this life, I will not be shot in the back like by some coward who can't look at his victim. So go ahead, KILL ME!"

Her words echoed in my head as once again I was seeing my mother, standing facing a policeman who was holding a gun pointed at her head. "What are you waiting for coward," her voice suddenly changed, "KILL ME!" A shot rang through my head as I watched both my mother and Erin fall with a bullet through the head. My mother wasn't just murdered that night I was taken away from her, she made them kill her. Her siren ordered her death. I looked down at my hands as a tear escaped joining the other tears that were shared by every other member on the bus. What had I accepted into myself?
