Background

Alex comes from a somewhat loving and caring family. His parents too have problems sometimes but nothing ever too serious. He was best friends with both Hannah and Jessica before Hannah committed suicide and he, in most peoples eyes is the reason that most bad things that happened to her occurred, because he made the Hot List. However after her suicide he knew what he did was wrong and owned up to it, and felt terrible for what he did to someone that used to mean a lot to him.

Because of all the events that occurred, Alex did unfortunately try to commit suicide as well, but thankfully he lived. Because he put a bullet through his head, he now has trouble using one of his arms and needs a cane to support him while walking. Unfortunately, he can't remember what happened before he shot himself. He even convince Clay to give him the tapes that Hannah left to try and remember something.

Now Alex does have trouble with some things still, like walking and remembering certain things, but he's trying hard. He also does tend to have flashbacks, of things that happened before he shot himself as well that can be very triggering. He's best friend's with Zach, which isn't what many people expected. He appreciates Zach because he was there for him and helped him with everything he needed.
