Background

Zach comes from a very caring family whom has always wanted the best for him. He has a younger sister, and he's always been very protective over her. He most of the time would rather people mess with him than mess with her. He was good friends with Bryce and the rest of his group a while back but not anymore because of the events that occurred later on.

In the mix of everything happening with Hannah and her suicide and the tapes, he lost his father shortly after that. It took a toll on his whole family, which cause him to have mixed emotions when it came to his mother. His mother likes to hide her emotions and not let anyone see, which is difficult for Zach because he can be very emotion at times

Now Zach has currently dropped out of baseball and no longer hangs out with the groups of friends that he did before, except for Justin. His best friend is Alex Standall, whom he has recently gotten close with since Alex's attempted suicide not too long ago. he helps Alex out with everything that he need, whether it's something big or something small, like just helping him to class.
