BBQ

It was the day of the block party the triplet's dad planned. He was cooking at the barbecue currently with Impact's uncle. Meanwhile all of the triplets friends were at a table eating all the sweets that Echo made the night before with their family.
"Holy shit Sans. Your Kid is an amazing chief." Underswap papyrus stated taking another bite of a pink cup cake covered in green frosting. Hex had his entire face stuffed with these delicious food. It was the best damn thing he ever ate. Like if heaven had a taste, it would taste like Echo's food. James took a picture of Impact who was doing cartwheels and his entire face was covered in cupcake frosting.
"Maybe I shouldn't have let him eat three cupcakes." His uncle told Flamester's father. (it's grillby he's talking too. Sans is telling puns with like every other Sans.) Meanwhile Echo was swinging back and forth by her self on the swings in her backyard. She looked at all her distracted friends laughing over at a table. Maybe she didn't deserve to talk to them. Maybe she did. It was clear to her if she should go talk to her friends. I mean Goth and Paulette were flirting. Daisy was teasing Calibri and Trajan about their long hair. As for Tempus, he was talking to Mistral. Her brother's were talking to Hex. No one even tried talking to her today. Maybe they hadn't noticed her. She was under a large tree on the other side of the backyard.
"May I sit?"
Echo looked at the person stand in front of her. She smiled.
"Sure thing Frisk." Echo told them. Core Frisk sat in the swing next to her. As they watched Echo swing back and forth, they laughed a bit.
"What's so funny?" Echo asked as she stopped swinging.
"I keep picturing the five year old girl wearing the purple princess like tutu who loved to dance I meet nine years ago trying to swing back and forth on this. You were so cute." Core Frisk giggled.
"Haha. I'm still cute." Echo responded with a grin.
"Okay fine. What every you say Echo." Core Frisk smiled.
"Hey Frisk?"
"Yeah."
"What was Chara like from where you're from?"
"................" Frisk's big endless black eye sockets grew big. She never asked about where Frisk was from before or any Chara before. No one did before. Then again they were called Core by everyone else.
"You don't have to answer. I just would like to know if they were a monster in almost every AU other than underswap AUs." Echo stated looking at her feet. She just wanted to know if her first friend really got everyone killed in other dimensions.
"Sometimes." Core Frisk stated before gulping.
"Sometimes there's timelines where Charas posses Frisks and make them commit so many murders over and over again until the Frisk goes insane. Then when they eventually get control over their bodies, they kill them to save everyone. Others trick Frisk into Killing the monsters that will 'kill' them. Other times Chara tries to take control of Frisk by showing them visions of their monster family killing them until they kill one of them out of protecting. Then Chara takes control and kills everyone. These ones have the most resets and deaths. Half of these AU's have been destroyed by the viruses." Core Frisk explained looking down before looking at her friend. Echo looked like she was gonna hurl. So it was try. Chara was a monster. They always would be, wouldn't they. Then Core Frisk spoke up again,
"This is a very small case." Echo looked at her friend. Core Frisk smiled at her then, continued.
"That's only 45% of the time. There's many AU's where Chara trying to help Frisk from means such as giving them the rest option they never had. Others are Chara is summoned after you kill their mother. Then they try to talk them out of killing everyone else. Yet, if they do not listen, in the end they kill Frisk to save the rest of the monsters and the humanity which they hated so long ago. Then in others Chara is Frisk's wingman when they try to flirt their way out of the situation. It is quite funny to watch Chara come up with pick up lines and make Frisk laugh at them. Then there's the Orignal version. I don't know about Chara in that one but, they seem to be helpful. They talk Frisk out of killing. If they don't listen Chara goes a little insane and kills them for the same reason as the last ones. Now my favourite one was your universe's Chara."
"Really? What did they do to deserve that?" Echo smirked remember her Chara, who by the way was a total dork.
"Your Chara protect the seven fallen children to the best of their capability. They tried so hard to keep them safe. Hell, they even helped the souls avoid the royal guards for so long. Yet, they betrayed the last soul who fell after they shot a young monster girl. After this they literally possessed the human soul of justice to protect the rest of the monsters in the area from them. The merciless child was given control of their body one more time before being murdered. As that Chara screamed the young skeleton woke up to see a crying human ghost fading out of view. As this happened the child opened her mouth to speak only to cough up blood. Then Chara save the young girl by giving them some human soul determination. Thus the two were forced to hang out with each other for what seemed like forever. Then when the universe was dying Chara left to go save what little of their dimension they could. They helped save six of the seven souls which are having their bodies rebuilt now. Yet, the soul who died protected the only monsters they could. Their best friend. Now are they gone for good? Who knows." Core Frisk smiled looking at the group of Skelton's eating at the table. Echo looked at Frisk. Then at her friends and family. She smiled. Chara was the best person ever in her book. It was their own personal sacrifice that her brother James were both here with her, Jake and their father. This was the price of all human souls though. They were to sacrifice them selves for the monsters great good. Wether they wanted to or not.
"Don't let anyone tell you otherwise about Chara. They are what you believe they were." Core Frisk smiled at her friend. They knew that there were rumours going around about the demon Chara at her school. She shouldn't believe them at all.
"I know." Echo smiled.
"You wanna go eat some barbecue? I heard it's good." Core Frisk smiled standing up. Echo got up.
"I thought you didn't need to eat." Echo smiled.
"Well, there's always a reason to try something new."
