Powerless nights

"Nnnnnnnooooooooooooo." James screamed to the heavens as he dropping to his knees in the playground. Daisy sighed while Impact face palmed.
"It's just a day without power for the town. Just calm down." Calibri explained. Today at school the powers turned off for almost three hours. They all thought it was a problem with the school. Yet, Calibri who came in late had a different story. The entire town they lived in was out of power. Why? Some idiot thought it would be a cool idea to throw a something into the town's power source. So everyone in town was helping them fix it today after work. Well at least that's what Calibri said.
"I don't think that's why he's saying no." Jake sighed. Mistral looked at him.
"Well then why is he screaming like darts Vader after he found out his-" mistral tried to ask.
"Spoilers for readers who haven't seen it!" Fresh stated interrupting her. Everyone except a heart broken James looked at him.
"What? What readers?" Paulette asked. Just as Goth and Echo opened their mouths to talk James's screaming got louder.
"MY ICE CREAM! NOOOOO!" He continued screaming. Tempus looked at him like he was crazy.
"What we all just found out we have to live with power for, who knows how long and your worried about ice cream?" Tempus asked. James nodded his head yes as he kept screaming no. At this point everyone was done with his shit and walked away.

Sans opened his door. He greeted Ink and Error with a smile. Meanwhile their three sons were behind the. The triplet's father stepped out of the way to let the boy's run in the house with their sleeping bags and three changes of clothes.
"Are you sure you're okay with watching them? I mean they could stay at our place for a bit while we try to help fix the town's core." Ink stated. Echo's father laughed.
"Buddy relax, I got this. I raised three kids by my self and none of them have died yet. Plus my house is the only one with a back up generator. So basically five other kids are coming here. It's no trouble at all. Just go help everyone. They'll be fine." He smiled.
"Are you sure you're sure?" Ink asked to be triple sure.
"Babe you're over reacting again." Error stated looking at his husband. Ink sighed.
"I know. I just wanna make sure the boy's will be okay." Ink explained.
"They will be." Error assured his husband. He rapped his arm around him planting a kiss on the worried looking Ink's forehead. Ink seemed to calm down a bit as he smiled at Error.
"Now let's go." Errors smiled dragging Ink down the street. The triplet's father giggled a bit as he closed the door. He looked at his daughter who was sitting on the couch alone as all the boy's changed into their pyjamas since it was 8:30pm. She looked up from the book she was reading and smiled at her dad.
"Told you he stressed out over nothing a lot." She stated before going back to reading her blue book with golden letters on it. He father smiled at her.
"Guess you were right sugar plum. How's the book?" Her father asked with a smile. He saw her purple eyes lit up as she looked at him.
"Oh my god it's so good. Like the main character left a ship over like ummm maybe three hours ago. Then like when he came to the guy checking the brief cases he flipped a thing onto the top to anti-mug-" (who can guess which book it is,)
Just then the door bell rang again. With a smile Sans opened the door to see a 28 year old brunette, brown eyed Frisk standing there with her young skeleton daughter who shared her hair colour but, not eye colour. They also shared the golden flowers growing off of them. Frisk had more on her head then her daughter. Well, her daughter did only have the three flowers from the day she was born.
"Hi Sans. Thanks for looking after them again." She smiled.
"No problem." Sans smiled. He knew how rushed Frisk was since her husband flowerfell Sans died. He didn't have any help doing that so, he was happy to help her in any way he could. Thee young widow handed her daughter her red sleeping bag and suit case with golden flowers on them. She kissed her daughter on the check before Daisy ran into the house and sat on the couch at Echo's feet. Meanwhile Frisk's eight year old daughter Rose was hiding behind her. She still hid when ever she saw Sans. Unlike Daisy she was scared of a lot of things. Well she wasn't scared of him. Technically she was scared that mom would leave and never come back.
"Go on in Rose. I'll be back before you know it." Flowerfell Frisk smiled at her daughter.
"Promise?" Rose asked.
"Promise." Frisk kissed her on the head. "Now go in and have fun." With that the little girl ran in the house with a smile one her face. She sat next to the two older girl's. As the three of them began to talk about the book she was reading Frisk thanked Sans for watching the girl's again. Then Frisk headed to her car and drove off.
Soon Sans found him self barbecuing for not just his three kids or the five kids who showed up. Nope. In the end her ended up cooking for their entire class as the sky darkened before what was definitely going to be a storm. All the children including his were in their pyjamas for warmth since the place they lived seemed to be as cold as the Arctic today. The kids were also wrapped under like five piles of blankets. Tempus ate the most amount of hit dogs out of all of them as the triplet's father told stories to their friends. Which by the way Flamester kinda liked.
"So anyways they ended up face planting on the floor before crying about letting down some princess from a Disney movie. Which one was it again?" He asked.
"It was Ariel from the little mermaid." James confessed with a red face as he began to remember his first swim meet. Maybe he over reacted a lot. Everyone giggled as they finished eating their food. Echo was talking about her book with Goth. Just as they began to clean up Sans realized the time. Even though it was Friday it was a good idea to send the kids to bed before the storm started.
"Alright kiddos it's time to go to bed." Sans smiled.
"Noooo." The kids whined.
"You guys will thank me when you're older. Now head to bed." Sans smiled as he shooed the children back to the living room where their sleeping bags were. Well, except for Echo. She just sat in her seat and refused to get up when her friends tried to drag her to the living room. As everyone left Sans realized his daughter was gritting her teeth in pain. Like always when her soul rip began to affect her, she began gasping for air as she grabbed her chest. Sans quickly ran over to her.
"Echo, sugar plum did you take your pills?" Her father asked wrapping his arm around his daughter's shoulder. She nodded her head yes but, kept gasping for air as her grip tightened. Her body began to feel like it was on fire. Yet, she refused to cry. If she cried then her friends would know what made her weak.
"I'll go call Alphys and underswap Undyne. They have to something to help you with. If not then maybe they can-" Sans was stopped by his daughter gripping his wrist. He looked at his daughter to see she was no longer in pain.
"I'm fine. Honestly. Alphys said that the pain would come back sometimes remember. I'll be fine." She stated as she gave her father a weak smiled. Her father sighed.
"Okay but, you're sleeping in your room since it's the closest to mine. That way I can come in if you're in pain, okay." Her father stated. She nodded her head yes. Then without a word Sans picked her up and teleported her to her room. After he placed her on her bed, he teleported back down stairs to put a movie on for the kids.

At midnight a loud np bang of thunder woke the kids up. So the kids downstairs in the living room the kids began telling scary or just normal stories. Every time the thunder rang out the kids always jumped. Which was probably why the kids liked telling each other scary stories and told parts where something about the monster jumping out when the thunder rang out.
"So what's up with your sister leaving us all the time?" Tempus asked. The boy's looked at each other before shrugging. They knew why, they just didn't think she wanted others to know.
"She just does." James lied.
"Can I finish my story or not?" Flamester asked. The boy's rolled their eyes as they nodded their heads yes.
"Okay. So the demon snuck up behind the group of children without making a noise. Finally the demon reached forward to grab the children's souls only to say-" As Flamester told the story a shadowy figure walked up behind him. Everyone froze as it leaned closer to them revealing the blood dripping from their red eyes.
"Boo." Chara whispered. Everyone screamed at the top of their lungs and ran off to go hide upstairs. Meanwhile Chara laughed their head off as they turned back to their normal ghost forms before disappearing.
"What is everyone doing in my room?" Echo yawned rubbing her eyes. Everyone had hid in her room from the demon thing.
"There's a demon down stairs." Pj explained looking at the girl lying in her large kind sized bed. She looked a little lonely.
"We're all sleeping in here until the demon's gone sis. That way we now we are all safe. So move over." James stated jumping on her bed. Next came Pj who was on her right. Then Fresh who was next to him. Next came Hex who was on her left with her other brother Jake. Then Daisy and Impact. Rose slept in between them. Meanwhile Goth and Paulette were both sleeping at the foot of her bed now. As for Calibri, Mistral, Tempus and Trajan two were to the right of Fresh while the others were to the left of Echo's brother.
"Well this is gonna be a comfy night." Echo mumbled.
