I don't know which is more fustrating

Having to face the repercussions of your actions?

Having your parents mess up a plan?

Or not being able to do things according to your plan?

Or all of them put together?

We should have gone back to Canada right? But no! We didn't well I didn't but my parents did. In fact all the moguls did except their kids. They set us up and left us all in the island and went back home.

They left before I woke up and did a conference video call with us. I sat in the room with the television screen showing my parents live. Mr Bran had set up the whole connection and i was too pissed to even learn a thing, you know why?

My phone was missing

"Mom why would you do this too me?" I asked frustrated and feeling betrayed

"Because I want you to live life my darling.. you are too bottled up, too secluded" she spoke with all sincerity as I stood in front of the tv watching her and my father who just held her hand and nodded.

"Mom it's what I want, I'm a grown up for Christ sake I'm supposed to make my own decisions and you shouldn't interfere and now you kept me hostage here on the island and took my passport away and my phone, I can call this kidnapping because it's against my will" my dad couldn't hide his amusement as he looked at me, he looked so good when he tried to not smile but my mom just laughed away and Mr. Bran just smiled. I scoffed

"Mom I'm serious, you can't keep me here for who knows how long against my will" I complained

"Yes we can honey and we did and besides one month isn't that long" my eyes popped open at my dad's words

"ONE F**KING MONTH!!" I exclaimed

"Mind the language young lady" my dad scolded but i couldnt care what language i used, i was going to be on an island with the others and with Trijan. I barely stayed three days before i kissed him and now i was going to stay One month, i couldn't do this. I was sure I would die or something as I felt air dry up in my lungs, I requested for water.

"You see ivy, your father and i both decided with the other Moguls that this is the best way to strengthen the Bond amongst you kids and to help you live life" my mother said calmly as she rested on her chair, she suddenly looked old to me but then her beauty was still there

"You can do this ivy, it's simple enough. Just have fun, breathe new air and let the whole world see you for who you are. We don't want you to be caged so we have opened the bars we operate now open yours and be free" my dad said leaning forward as if he wanted to look into my soul "We love you Ivy and we want the best for you and i promise after a month. I'll send your phone, passport and credit card to you. . Ok baby?"

I sighed, they had won again and besides what could I do, Nothing "Ok daddy. Thank you"

My mom's excitement matches with my dad's and her voice became lighter "Thank you too baby and remember papa and mama loves you". With that the screen went blank.

I dropped on my bed feeling nothing but worried and betrayed but mostly scared. I had not seen Trijan since the kiss and my tummy tingled when I thought of it but then the exciting feeling died when I had to think of staying with him for the next one month.

I could try ignoring it and not talking about it but then how would I ignore him? When he was like food to my eyes and hunger to my heart. If I was to speak honestly, staying in the island was not a problem but staying with Trijan here was actually the issue.

I also knew he was engaged so indulging in any kind of illegitimate relationship with him was out of bounds since his father was in full support of it but then what about his happiness? What about him?

I knew he was deprived of alot as a person and i got abundance of what he didn't get and he got abundance of what I didn't get, we could help each other right? But no, it wouldn't come out well it's up to Denise now

A knock in my door interrupted my thoughts and i didn't think my voice would carry the loudness I wanted it to so I walked to the door myself to let the person in

"Hey Ivy" Jamie's soothing voice greeted me.

Ok what game does life want to play now?
