"You look ....." he kept quiet as he tried to find the words, my cheeks were red and hot before he even said the word "magnificent, I really dont have the right words but that's the only word my mind uttered"

"Thank you" I extended the blush to a smile and tried to fight the shyness that was beginning too envelope me. I tried steadying my feet but was too focused on trying not to giggle that I missed my step just before I stepped on the stairs.

He caught me. His strong hands held my arms and stabled me while his eyes locked mine. His grey eyes potrayed the softness his arms was holding me with and this twisting in my tummy made me flush.

I stepped away from his hold smiling back at him as I muttered a 'thank you' to show my appreciation for not letting me fall, Tou had he didn't catch me youhen I was falling for him.

As I descended down the stairs I took one last look at him that was when I noticed he was dressed up "You are heading out?" I asked with my eye brows squeezed in slight confusion.

"Yeah..umm  me and Denise are heading out for dinner since she's feeling low" he replied me not looking directly at me " I decided to treat her out tonigh?

" Oh!" I said thinking about how thoughtful he was yet still feeling envious it wasn't me, my poor heart "ok have fun then, see you later"

I turned around as he said thank you and continued my journey down the stairs while trying to adjust my composure to my advantage.

"Wow! Ivy you look amazing" Jamie complimented as he took my hand guiding me down the last set of stairs. He kept blinking his eyes and grinning and it made me laugh at how excited he was.

"I just want to say i appreciate you for coming with me. I am so honoured andcYou just look so amazing-"

"Thank you Jamie, you are looking great yourself, I love your tie" I appreciated him as my hands patted his shoulder to relax him. He was sounding nervous, too nervous.

I was distracted by a flash of light which came from Joan's phone, she smiled as she gestured us to get closer. Jamie snaked his arms around my waist and drew me to himself making me inhale his lovely musk.

"You two look like homecoming King and Queen" she squealed as she showed us the picture, strangely I felt like it was prom.

I didn't know where he got it from but the black bugatti Chiron made me grin like a clown. I was a sucker for cars and black elite ones at that. I stood in front of the car and posed for Joan making her giggle but another flash light shun at me from Jamie's phone and i giggled.

I didn't let him open the door for me, I pratically rushed inside the car barely saying goodbye to Joan. The leather seat smelt like New and a beautiful fragrance kissed my nose as I relaxed and placed my seat belts.

"This is like heaven" I said closing my eyes, Jamie laughed making me self conscious and i popped my eyes opening "What?  Why are you laughing?"

He smiled "You look like a child who got free candy, it adds cute to your beauty" my cheeks reddened beneath the makeup and i looked away as I told him thank you.

"Where did you get the car?" I asked

"It's a secret" he smirked looking at me before turning back to the road.

I didn't question him further so we drove in comfortable silence as he kept stealing glances at me and smiling making me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world. I noticed his extra effort too for the dinner, he shaved and added a little more musk tonight. I felt important.

We soon stopped at a resturant i was too fascinated to recall the name. The place was grand, the main building sat at the middle of the place looking as tall as a tower. I stared in awe as we drove around it, so many people in dinner gowns and sophisticated looks strolled towards the building. There was a water fountain of a couple staring at each other in front of the resturant that took my attention.

As we halted in front of the building,I stayed still so Jamie could open the door for me. He gave the keys to a chauffeur who bowed and spoke words I was too distracted to hear. Soon Jamie's arm rested on the small of my back as he guided me inside the building.

The lively sounds of an orchestra filled my Ears accompanied by the sweet laughs of the resident of the ground floor. It seemed like it was a party and i was glad I came prepared.

"No Ivy, we are going upstairs" Jamie whispered to me as he led me to the elevator. He pressed the number 5 on the control panel by the door which was the last floor of the building and soon the carriage moved upwards.

For the first time I decided to steal glance at Jamie and he caught me but he only smirked and winked back and i didn't bother hiding the blush.

"Ivy?"

"Jamie?"

"Close your eyes" my eyes widened at his command

"Why?"

"I want to surprise you" he grinned as he untied his tie and unbuttoned the first three buttons transforming from charming to hot,  stretching it with his hands he went behind me and passed over my head stopping on my eyes and gently tying it.  I was blindfolded and relied on his guide to lead me.

We got to the final floor and since I was still blindfolded so I couldn't see the receptionist

"Good evening Do you have a reservation Sir?" Her Italian accent asked

"Yes Jamie. . Jamie Scott" he replied with confidence

"Ah Mr. Scott! right this way sir" a masculine voice took over "I see you have company" he chuckled as I heard his voice in front of me leading us.

After a few steps, I heard Doors open to a slower sound of another orchestra. The sweet scent of food and wine filled my nose making a smile spread my lips then Jamie leaned close to my ears and whispered "are you ready?"
