The poem is a tribute to my wife on our 30th Wedding Anniversary, and to her Spiritual Mediumship, which brings the hope I write of, to others.

It is, I believe a truly Spiritual poem which I've also entered in the Poetspub 2018 May Contest WK3, and is waiting acceptance.

It is called a Tempoem, and is named after its creator Bill Temple.

It has a very simple style and consists of 28 words, divided into 7 lines that all rhyme.

The title must be the same as the last word of the first and last lines.

The first line is to have 7 words, the second 6 and so on, until the last line which only has one that of the title, in this case 'Glowing'.

There is no requirement for it to be acrostic, but it must read equally well when read in reverse.

This my personal derivation 'A Triple Acrostic Tempoem', so it has three sets of 28 words, all following the same rules.

So not only is it acrostic, it has 3 embedded Tempoems, which can be read as 1 or separately, and all read in reverse, or at least that was my aim.

GLOWING

* Ghostly, speaking spirits are like starlight Glowing *

** Gently whispering to anyone who is listening **

*** Giving hope to those who are receiving ***

* Looking for memories of souls departing *

** Longing for the those now missing **

*** Left behind to do the reasoning ***

* Only they feel the parting *

** Overcome by a sudden passing **

*** Once alone they commence mourning ***

* When love's on going *

** Wondering what is missing **

*** Where's the loving kissing ***

* Inside is aching *

** I'm near breaking **

*** Is she leaving ***

* Now releasing *

** Now sinking **
