This was my week 3 entry in the 'Poets Pub' May Contest.

It's based on another of Bill Temple's creative poetry designs described as a 'Tri-Dodeca'.

The basic requirement is:

'Three stanzas'

'Four lines'

'Three  syllables per line'

This is my personal adaptation, which I term an 'Acrostic Quadruple 'Tri-Dodeca'.

The underlying story is about the seemingly irresistible lure and the resulting debilitating agony of drug induced excitement.

Let us dance

In the night

Vibrantly

Everlasting

Life

Leaping up

In to a

Frenzied fit

Ecstasy

Love

Looms among

Ovoid pills

Very soon

Exhausted

Evil

Each broken

Victims low

Instead of

Loving life
